To have not known Keith Richards once looked like this?

I saw the Stones in concert over the weekend - amazing show - and only just realised they're on Instagram.

So I started following them and spotted this shot of Keith, aged 29 in 1972 and bloody hell! He was a bit of all right wasn't he? Who'd have guessed??

A young Mick was gorgeous.
I saw the at the first Hyde Park concert, I needed DH to give me a hand up from sitting on the ground at 53 and Mick came out and jumped about for 2 hours at nearly 80.
A young Slash was very pretty.

I watched the Mick episode of the documentary last night. It was entertaining but not sure it broke any new ground. He was beautiful in his youth though, without being conventionally good-looking.

Going to watch the Keith ep tonight so that should be interesting. No.1 question: "how are you still alive??"!

Came on here to make sure that Dave Gilmour got a shout out and glad to see posts from @Nolongerteaching and @Milly2016 that he did.

He was an absolute beaut in a posh-boy rocker kind of way. Sometimes when I'm having a slow afternoon, I just Google 'david gilmour young' and peruse for hours! 😆

Keith Richards comes across as a thoroughly good guy. Loved him on the BBC documentary, especially when he was discussing his shyness. Mick Jagger was gorgeous when he was younger, so cool and sexy. I thought he also came across well at his current age. I’m a huge Stones fan 👄

Watched all four episodes of My Life As A Rolling Stone now. Not sure any new ground was broken, and rough patches for the band were glossed over a bit, but the interviews were interesting enough. I didn't realise that Ronnie only kicked his addictions in 2010, after 30 years. I think Keith gave up the hard drugs in the late 70s yet he's the one with the reputation!

I saw them at Hyde park too.. they're incredible. Keith Richards is the best advertisement for living hardcore. Ironically, Charlie was the cleanest living out of all of them.
