I saw the Stones in concert over the weekend - amazing show - and only just realised they're on Instagram.

So I started following them and spotted this shot of Keith, aged 29 in 1972 and bloody hell! He was a bit of all right wasn't he? Who'd have guessed??

He certainly wasn't attractive in the early pics - there's one of the group in the early days where he looks very plain! He began to improve a couple of years later!

He was hot. No reflection on his moral character, I'm sure he was a shit who slept with teenage girls.

It's weird how people will try to deny that a bad person can be extremely physically attractive, or vice versa. Look up young Stalin sometime.

I once dated an older man who looked a bit like Mick. He was incredibly attractive but alas a bit too much like Mick in other ways too. Our relationship came to an abrupt end when it turned out he already had a partner!

One of the opening acts for the Stones at Hyde Park is a southern rock band called Vista Kicks and the lead singer is fairly easy on the eye. His name is Derek, which is as unlikely a name for a sex symbol as Keith!

Did they have the moving stage that goes out into the audience halfway through the set, @BeckyWithTheAverageHair ? The last 2 times I saw them at different venues they moved the stage through the middle of the crowd for several songs, which was great so everyone got to see them. DS is going this week.

@chesirecat99 it wasn't a moving stage for his time but there was a sort of runway that went out into the audience and I lost count of the number of times Mick, at nearly 80, sprinted and strutted up and down it. He is truly astonishing and probably one of rock and roll's all-time greatest performers.
