What would you expect to turn up in the bag from the online menu there?

I didn't even spot the fries. I've got no idea, but I see it 's all sorted out now anyway

I'd think it was two burgers, two fries, and two drinks....like in the photo. If that's not what I got, I'd complain, and report to Trading Standards if I could be bothered.

I would always go by the description though as the pictures are always misleading. The description and name are clear that it's only one burger. I think there has been mix up with the photo but based off what it is actually described as its clear its meant as only one meal

On just eat its described as a meal which is one meal, there's nothing in the description to suggest its two. The app is described as duo and more expensive.

Most of just eat is just random generic pictures, you cannot go off the picture and need to read the actual description

Well once you click on the full description that's what it says you should get and £10.49 is really expensive for one fast food meal.

They cost around £6 in a normal place or £8 at a service station so it's not unreasonable to get a double deal like that, especially as that's what the picture and description clearly show.

Sounds like a mistake OP. Definitely complain and they should give you a refund or credit but it doesn't help if you were short of a meal for someone.

I would’ve thought that you got the 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 drinks. I always just order on the app so I know what to expect . Find it much easier .

Except having read the thread, it IS a two meal deal. I've had a look myself. It's definitely two whole meals.

A 'Double Meal' literally means there are two meals. It could not be clearer. It's not a 'Double Burger' meal, in which case you could argue 'burger' means an individual patty.

It's truly incredible the lengths people go to on here to say the OP is in the wrong. True mental gymnastics.

The name of the cheeseburger is "cheesy bacon double" - the double refers to the two patties. So it's a single meal in which the burger is a "cheesy bacon double". It's not a double meal, it's a double patty burger as part of a meal. And, most importantly, the description made it very clear that you would get one double patty burger, one drink and one chips. At no point was getting two of everything mentioned at all. Everything else is irrelevant-OP got exactly what was described. The fact that she clearly didn't read the description and ordered the wrong thing is entirely on her.

Check the first item and the last item in this screenshot. The OP ordered the meal, not the "duo". The app she ordered on listed them in the wrong place. She ordered and paid for one double-patty burger meal.

Then that is the fault of the app, and OP is entitled to two meals!

The heading OP originally posted is Double Meal. The picture has two meals in it. It's listed under bundle deal. This is an absolute no brainer - the listing is completely misleading and false advertising.

It's advertised and sold as two meals. That's what's in the heading and that's what's in the photo. Blaming OP is absolutely ridiculous. This actually IS an actual deal. I could pay the same price at my local BK and pick it up. Yes, £10.49 for two meals.

Looking at all the pictures, there appears to be two similarly named products for either £10.49, which might be the single double burger and £10.99 which is clearly two meals of double burger, fries and drink.

OP what does your order confirmation say that you ordered and how much did you pay?

The description says you will get one (double patty) burger, one chips and one drink. This is what she got -exactly what she ordered. You can't completely ignore the description! If all the OP had to go on was a list of titles, you might have a point. But she didn't. A full description listing everything that you get was on the website and is as clear as day that the Cheesy bacon double - meal is a meal comprising of one cheesy bacon double burger, one drink and one fries. Similarly, the description for Cheesy bacon double duo makes it clear that if you buy this you get 2 cheesy bacon double burgers, two drinks and two fries.

It's really not ridiculous to expect to get exactly what is in the description on the website.
