To ask what you would assume comes with this meal?

What would you expect to turn up in the bag from the online menu there?

Yeah, I assumed that you get 2 off all the same thing. So you click fries and Fanta and you get x2 of the same.

I just wanted to see if I'm bonkers or not but seems quite a few other people would have thought the same thing.

I know it's cheap but I thought it was a special offer 😳

It says on their website that it's two bacon double cheeseburger meals. So 2x bacon double cheeseburgers, 2 x fries , 2x drinks for £13.99 through Deliveroo (additional charge for delivery)

Everything about this is misleading EXCEPT then it where it says 'meal' ... everything else points to x2 of everything

Given you can get a double cheeseburger for £1.58 and fries for about £1.70 and a drink for the same cost I would expect two of each of these for £11, unless a whopper double cheeseburger of some kind which given you can get one of those on a weds for £1.99 still doesn't make it bargain of the century.

you are on MN op, and therefore are completely unreasonable for eating burgers. Oh and one burger and chips should feed your whole family for a week. Meanwhile I have no idea I get kids to order takeout because I always get it wrong…

Usually in this case they ask you what drink you would like, so did it not make you think this isn't right when they only asked you to select one drink?

The words "double meal" and the picture would make me think it was 2 of everything.

But then reading the description I would doubt myself a bit- wondering if it was just a double patty as usually places would make quite a song and dance about it being 2 meals- one for you and one for your friend or something.
The price being so similar would also make me wonder if it was just 2 patties, but as you say they do special offers!

Without seeing the written description in full, I can't say. Is there any reason you didn't show that in full? I'm guessing it describes one (double pattie) burger, one fries and one drink, and that is what you've received.

Id expect 2 meals (2 burgers. 2 fries. 2 drinks.) As per the picture.
The description describes what is in one burger, but then calls it a 'bundle' which implies there is more included than in a usual 'meal'

Sorry OP... I would expect the picture. I might have realised that it CAN'T be two burgers as the price is the same as for one burger/chips/drink combo but probably not (or I would have been in denial THEY CAN'T LIE IN A PICTURE). And then I would have cried.

But it's a double cheese burger, bundled together with fries and a drink. Hence a bundle.

The wording on the second picture that OP posted clearly says that the single is a single patty in a bun, the double is two patties in a bun.

Whilst I can understand how the OP jumped to the conclusion she did, it is her error as she didn't read the description (unless of course the hidden bit of the description did actually say that you receive two cokes/two chips/two double cheese burgers in buns.)

On my app it says “two large bacon double cheeseburger meals” for £13.99. I’ve ordered it before and got two burgers, perhaps they forgot one?
you definitely can pick fries and drinks too, it’s a good price for two meals.
