I'm staying in a very rural village where takeaways are limited, but it's my first night here and I thought I'd splash out. I ordered a pizza meal deal with some onion rings and mozzarella sticks... but pic of the pizza attached. I'm here alone, wtf was I thinking?!

Worse, when it arrived it didn't actually fit through the front door. I had to stand in the porch and tip it very carefully onto its side to get it in. Then as the delivery guy walked away I heard the porch door slam shut and lock behind me from a rogue gust of wind.

For a split second I contemplated whether it would be possible to just live in the porch for a week and stretch my gigantic pizza over 7 days so I wouldn't starve. Luckily then I remembered the back door was open, but rather than do the walk of shame I had to wait, hidden in the enclosed porch, with this oversized pizza, for the delivery guy to drive up the road and turn around the cul de sac and leave, then abandon my monster pizza until I legged it round the back and retrieved it.

It better be fucking good.

Omg, just catching up from yesterday and I'm not far from Herne Bay! I've identified the purveyor and will be saving this up for whenever I next need to make a grand entrance to a beach party

Right, so things I’ve learned from this thread:

• there are pizzas big enough to do more than dinner and breakfast (because I can EAT when it comes to pizza);
• I need to go to Hearne Bay; and
• other people do the ‘order vast quantities of Chinese so you can live off it for several days’ thing.

And not ONE “Oh, but a single slice and I’d be stuffed for a WEEK” or “I prefer to make my own out of cauliflower and tears of despair” post? Oh MN, you disappoint.

I know this post is from Wednesday but I've had a shitty day at work (which lasted from 08:30 until midnight) and for some reason this has just tickled me and cheered me right up.

I once ordered what I thought was a modest order for 4 people of two small pizzas and two medium (to be on the safe side). The small were large and the medium each required two fully opened out pizza boxes to fit it. But even that paled in comparison to your pizza OP so hats off to you.

I would lose my mind if I saw this! The biggest pizza I’ve ever seen - and bought of course (!) was 18”. I’m drooling at the thought of cold leftover pizza for breakfast the next day. 🤤

Just to go on a slight tangent my DH and I often experience what we call 'internet sizing problems' - the chair his 6'4" army friend bought which turned out to be toddler size, the jar of gherkins I bought which turned out to be 10kg, a sword and shield I bought for some fancy dress which was about the size of a saucepan lid and my friend's newly purchased tent now Glastonbury is finally on which they could fit about 20 people in....and now your regular size pizza.

My birthday present from DP was a TShirt from a particular US rock band that he loves too. So he decided to order himself a hoodie at the same time (he had a plan to wear it the same night so we would be matchy matchy....glad he failed!).

Mine came, fitted perfectly. His .... not so much as he had misread the sizing and it would have struggled to fit your average 5 year old!

Feeling inspired by OP's pizza and hoping to try the frying pan and air fryer trick .. off I popped to the Co op last night to find 2 pizza's and a tub of Ben&Jerry's on offer for a £5 !

Pizza was totally minging but the ice cream was worth it ...

Day 3 of the Pizza Challenge. Had two slices for breakfast, there's EIGHT left I have a date this evening so wondering if I'm brave enough to finish the lot before meeting him for a drink, or whether the pizza waddle is not really the look I should be going for. And possibly garlic breath.
