Hotel Chocolat chocolate. I've just had the salted caramel puddles and they were nothing to write home about (and I love chocolate).
To be fair, I have plebeian chocolate tastes Blush and it could just be that their milk chocolate has a higher cocoa content than most, and doesn't taste creamy enough.
I still don't enjoy their chocolate though.

Over to you.

I was just reading this and thought I must have posted without realising. But I have no "The" and I like Cornwall.

Apps. So sick of being asked to download one to do the simplest things.

Hotel Chocolat: ok but nothing like as good as Thornton's when they still used fresh ingredients, rather than the inedible shelf stable shite they are currently producing.

BritInAus · 20/06/2022 01:23

Greggs. It's a very average, cheap bakery. Don't get the cult love.

All-inclusive holiday in Kos last year. We took it because the Covid test package was way cheaper than our usual holiday.

NHS
Brexit, and everyone who voted for it
People who still hold racist or sexist or homophobic views in 2022, very tiresome
Anybody who uses "cutsie" words like "little man" or "hollibobs" 🤢
People who think anybody who drinks 2 or 3 alcoholic drinks is an alcoholic
Technology that does not work or attempts to speak to me in American accents, or ise American dialects of words without first checking that I am speaking/ writing actual English
Rain and wind
The crazy people who apparently would still vote for BJ (no coincidence those are his own made-up initials, one might think?) is capable of being in public office
Cornwall too as some PPs said!!
Giant eyebrows
Fake tan
Fake eyelashes
People who are rude to waiting staff or junior people that work for them, so crass
Water that is not ice cold
Coffee shops where they look at me baffled when they say they do not serve iced coffee and I ask for a glass, some ice, a double espresso and some milk
Fake most stuff, botox and fillers... gross
Agree with PP about the Royal Family. All so boring, and in any way they are not boring they are disgusting: paedophiles, cheats, liars, self-interested people using their influence for their own purposes like protecting their own wealth from scrutiny/ tax!
I could go on. Perhaps I am too grumpy these days!!

TheGirlOnTheDragon · 20/06/2022 03:36

Oh also while I'm at it, HMRC! What's with taxing lone parents twice as much as households with two adults? Way to tackle child poverty. 😵‍💫🤦🏻‍♀️
