Hotel Chocolat chocolate. I've just had the salted caramel puddles and they were nothing to write home about (and I love chocolate).
To be fair, I have plebeian chocolate tastes Blush and it could just be that their milk chocolate has a higher cocoa content than most, and doesn't taste creamy enough.
I still don't enjoy their chocolate though.

Over to you.

The wankery of being served food on a slate, in a welly boot or something equally obscure. What is wrong with a plate?

Everything that people rate highly or are obsessed with. It's all a pile of over-priced rubbish.

Centreparcs
Want to ride a bike ? Buy some off eBay and do it every weekend.

Want to swim ? Go to the pool

Want to do archery ? Join a club.

Do all of those things for years and still spend a tenth of the money .. o er rated and vastly overpriced.

Want to stay I. The country side ? Book a national trust cottage and take your bikes , bows and arrows and go for an ACTUAL hike in ACTUAL countryside instead of a manufactured one ! (for a quarter of the price)

Christmas. It's just an overload of wifework and lazy ungrateful feckers turning up at your house treating you like a servant.

that’s every other day of the year situation normal for me …. my older/adult kids returning home from work/school 🙄

I didn't believe it before, but it's clearly true - Mumsnet really is a hive of wrong-thinking depravity.

Christmas and the months of build up. So much pressure to get things right, so much hard earned money wasted, disaster environmentally with all the waste. Hate hate hate it! Bah humbug!

PrinnyPree · 19/06/2022 23:25

Wagamama's! Their ramen is vile and tastes likes the smell of mouldy socks and everytime I see someone asking to recommend a place to eat Japanese food I see this crappy overpriced chain restaurant crop up. Also Nando's.

Having said that I like quite a few of the things mentioned on here, prosecco, salted caramel chocolate (and icecream), sunny holidays abroad and hot tubs. Maybe I'm a right pleb though and consider them all a real treat. 😅

I'll never know if Tony Chocolonely is good or bad because I'll never buy any foodstuff containing the word lonely.

See also Oceanus perfume from the Body Shop.

There's nothing wrong with a cheese advent calendar though.

Special needs education, never ending form filling and meetings, years of broken promises, followed by the dawning realisation that you could have just all been happy if you just had never engaged at all.

Hot tubs, fake grass and grey fences

Haribo - awful, even my kids hate them

Zoom

Health apps

GIF's - drive me insane, especially in the work environment

Microsoft Teams chat function all thumbs up and predictive replies, no wonder we are all losing the plot

Online everything, took kids to a lovely wood & splash park and had to download an app, register an account my card details, just to pay bloody parking. Either that or they charge you a one off £10 all day fee 😡
