Of course he is. Wanker.

HannahSternDefoe · 06/06/2022 21:47

BBC now interviewing George Useless.

FirstHusband · 06/06/2022 21:47

Remember 2019? Johnson was obviously toast, without a majority, the opposition could have pushed for some form of PR and other policy concessions. Some MPs even got assistance from foreign politicians to try to overthrow the UK government. The election that everyone knew Johnson would lose, resulted in his win, with a majority of 80.
Now folks want rid again, meanwhile the Labour party is confused as to whether women have a penis, cervix or both. Whenever the right time for change is, it isn't now.

AlecTrevelyan006 · 06/06/2022 21:47

BJ looked like he'd just done a line...

I wonder if he might surprise us with a shock resignation. His ego is fragile, he likes to think he's liked. I wonder if this might be the excuse he needs to throw in the towel before further humiliation in the upcoming by elections.

I don't think he will but Long Covid would be a good excuse

He says he's not going to call a snap election.

Of course we can't believe a word he says. He will change his mind if and when it suits him.

Errr ... no.

All the polling predicted a big Conservative victory.

In fact, most polls suggested a Conservative majority of over 100.

This situation is a little different.

⬆️ living in a parallel universe

AlternativePerspective · 06/06/2022 21:52

I don’t understand why people say he’s finished. He isn’t.

He’s far too arrogant to resign. Ever. There can’t be another vote for another year. And there won’t be another election until 2024.

One can only hope that the Tory party will lose that election, and I hope to god they will. But as for Johnson, he’s not going anywhere.

The time for change is absolutely now. Incidentally Penny Mordaunt, who’s eyeing up the Tory leadership, thinks women can have penises.

They can change the rules on no confidence vote times

I do remember 2019.

The political landscape was nothing like you describe.

They can change the rules on no confidence vote times where does it say that? And who is they?
