Partner gone missing from hotel room

On holiday abroad in foreign country we have never come to before with our 2 young children. Have woken up at midnight to find partner creeping out of the room, not back yet an hour and a half later??? It is our 3rd night here... not taken phone, car keys or wallet? Feeling concerned!!!

Strange.

My dad once left a hotel room in the middle of the night thinking it was the toilet. The door locked behind him and he had to sleep in the closed reception because no-one heard him knocking and he was too embarrassed to make a lot of noise.

Did you ask him where he was going?

He's on a float in the Jubilee pageant.

He's probably seen the airport shambles and decided to pedalo back home
