Anyone here over 55 with both parents alive? Or know anyone who is?

Me

My Dad is 63 and has both parents alive.
My Mum is 55 and has both parents and a grandparent alive.
My mother in law is 60 and has both parents alive.
My father in law is 62 and his Dad is still alive, his Mum died earlier this year.

My DH was in his late 50s when his mum died last year, his brother was 60. His dad is still alive.

My friend is 51 both her parents are alive and in good health (mid 70s) and her nan was still alive until a few years ago.

I am 56 and both parents are still alive and in their 70s.
They were teenagers when I was born, quite a scandal in the 1960s with mum being sent away while pregnant.

DH is 63, both of his parents are still alive.

was 62 when her parents died.

I have a step dad still alive and lost my MIL at the weekend so only him now. My daughter's MIL (56) still has her gran still alive as well as both parents

DH is 57, both his parents are alive and very well.

I’m 51, my eldest sibling is 53, our parents are very well.

My parents were in their 60s when my grandparents died and MIL was almost 70 when her father died.

Surely this also comes down to what age your parents had their children. My friend is 61 and both her parents are alive. Her Dad is 82 and her Mum is 81. She herself had her first child at 33.

Yes. Comfortably over 55 as well.

My parents are 63 and 60, all 4 of my grandparents are still alive. Aged between 85 and 93!

DH is 55 with both parents alive- they married in their early 20s

I’m 56…both parents still alive, albeit with quite a few health issues, but I’m grateful to still have them with me.

My dad had both parents until he was 52. His sister would have been 55.

My husband lost both parents by the time he turned 20.

My mother is 56, her parents are 77 and 75, Her grandmother (my great-grandmother) is 97

Not me but 3 of my friends do. Blows my mind that a 57 year old colleague at work still sees her nan every week (understand it's completely possible of course!)

I’m 56 with both parents still alive. My Dad is 84 & absolutely amazing. Mum is 82 but her mobility isn’t good ( she has what’s called “ Parkinsonism” & also osteoporosis).

DH is considerably older that 55 and both his parents are still alive, fairly well and very active in their late 80s.

Nope mine both dead. They were older parents though so to be expected

My great grandparents died when my gran would have been 59 and 62, they both died at 94. It's nice to have known my GGPs. My mam had me at 20. I would really hope I will have her around long passed the time I'm 55

DH is 60 and both his parents are alive. I'm 55 this year and only have my Mum.

Two sets of cousins. One set have parents of 90 and 85, the others have parents of 95 and 90.

The oldest cousins are 64.

@Serenity45 I'm 56 and have a grandad who is 103 who I see regularly

My mum is 56 and both parents are alive and (reasonably) well at 85 and 79. Dad is 58 and had both parents alive until last month when my grandfather died.
