As evidence goes it doesn’t really show anything conclusive…
She could be ‘fronting’ it for her friend, pretending all is hunkydory by hamming it up with him. Those texts could be read in many ways, I can imagine many people I know talking like this (extreme sarcasm) in an effort to be funny and smart. It’s definitely not damning as far as concrete evidence goes…
That’s why I find the dry legal aspect to this case so interesting, it really shows up what can counts as strong evidence, and what will be seen as conjecture.
It is far too common that the media present conjecture as evidence, which is then pounced upon by the public as ‘proof’.
The law takes a completely different view.
