Two duvets / king sided bed

AIBU to think having two single duvets on a king sized bed is mental

Why not have a big fluffy king sized one

I know someone who has two single light duvets it makes no sense

AIBU?

We have a king sized bed and have 2 double duvets. It's heaven having your own duvet, can't stand sharing now 😆

We've recently gone over to 2 single quilts on a super king bed, because I was fed up with having to ask for help to change the cover! I found a super king duvet really awkward to change, too heavy and too big. But I am on the short side. And the inside kept migrating of its own volition so someone always had the corner with no quilt inside it!

I’m not a fan of the two duvet setup at all - have come across it a few times on holiday. I like to snuggle DP for a bit before we move apart and sleep and one won’t cover us both and two over both of us always ends with one falling off.
tbh even as a single person in a bed I hate single duvets, I always end up with draughts or losing it completely every time I roll over.
maybe with two double duvets it would be ok but I’ve never come across that anywhere.

We have a double duvet but I have a single under my half for extra warmth, 9 months of the year.

I'd love separate duvets.
DH likes to seal himself into a fluffy tube, sealing my left side at the same time.

I bought it up in conversation - you'd have thought I'd proposed separate beds 🙄 so I shall continue to steal all the duvet out from under him in a bid for freedom.

We have a super king bed with 2 single quilts and a big lighter heavyweight throw over the top . It’s heaven no more quilt hogging I can take it off if I feel hot ect what’s not to love

Either they don't know king size duvets and covers exist

or they like having a separate duvet form their partner. Mine gets very sweaty and also steals the duvet. So when you get it back it's a sweaty mess and not appealing at all.

I can see the logic. Think Look Whose Talking where he cuts the sheet down the middle.
