I think Depp has got what he wanted, he was never going to change everyone mind but he has changed many. He’s basically asked the jury for nothing so his only risk really is if he loses a large financial sum to Amber. Amber has lost her entire career and unfortunately safety and a private life. I am not sure exactly what the cup represents - she seemed to always have it with her. I am not sure if the guess is that it was wine or she lived on coffee or she was calm enough to be having a cuppa during all these events or what. It just makes frequent appearances!
