Some of this emotion seems little more real. I don't think it is about being a victim of Johnny but of the impact of all the publicity. Attention has always mattered to her., and this much negative attention would hard for anyone, no matter what they did. She is mad this made her look like a liar to the world. She loved the pulpit she had to be a MeToo and TimesUP spokesperson and that is gone. Her career is impacted and of course people in her life are too. I think it is thinking of what she is losing that is making her emotional.

That is the argument for me, if she can have her voice to speak her truth then surely Depp through waldman can have his voice to call it a hoax if that’s his truth.

She just testified that she has been watching social media....I bet that is the focus of this side bar. It also calls into question some of her other testimony - like when she suddenly remembered she had said the wrong date and wanted to change the date of the first incident after TMZ released the photo showing it was taken in 2012. The jury doesn't know that change in testimoney was because she saw the TMZ story and knew it didn't add up. That could now be brought up.

No I meant her claiming defamation, as in she wants her voice heard but not his. You can’t have it both ways unless you plan to go to a criminal law route and conviction.

Oh I see what you meant. I agree. I amnot sure what her voice back looks like. Does she think she will still be a spokesperson on domestic violence and women's rights? I can't see any association (or very few) wanting the publicity regardless of how they feel about her.

And had she filed a police report at the same time as the TRO, it would have given a lot more credibility to her story. But she didn't want to be investigated and she didn't want them getting the other side of the story.

Thing is she thinks the jurors won't notice but I bet they do. I would certainly pick up on that
