I think Johnny Depp will win because he had strong, reliable and consistent evidence of "his" case

This wasn't the basis for the trial. Nor did he ever say she abused him. That is a known tactic used to discredit victims.

He talks about how she abuses him throughout the recordings. There are many texts of his to his friends and team and doctors documenting that she has been abusing him and he can't take it any more.

Often abusers deflect their behaviour and accuse the person of the very thing they are doing.

After their marriage ended he contacted Warner Bros to warn them about her. A deliberate tactic to discredit and sabotage her career.

Emails saying I want her fired. I don't know how to find them right now but they definitely exist, you can probably find them amongst the various court documents in US or UK.

Rosie, you obviously support Depp. He said at the beginning of this trial that he's never hit a woman in his life. Not once. Do you believe him?

I would be interested to look into this (always open to change my viewpoint) so I will have a look later. Be interesting to know the context of the text messages too and whether he was actually trying to get her sacked.

I don't like either of them really but Depp came off more credible to me during his testimony and I feel that the evidence did not match what Amber was claiming. She would have had horrific injuries and swelling which cannot be covered with make up.

The tweet Amber sent this morning has been verified as coming from her account. The one where she tells her cut for amber movement that she loves them.

Johnny testified that he had spoken to execs at Warner Brothers. He had spoken to them to get Amber the role and praised her and later felt guilty he had spoken highly and recommended someone who treated him so poorly so he spoke to them to tell them he was no longer supporting her and what he actually thought of her.

He said he was doing it to warn them. In his mind he felt that he owed it to them to keep them on side. He said it was going to get messy.

It’s not a leap to point out he was getting off his face with Kate, Amber was right about him having a lot of people willing to vouch for him regardless of his past or present actions. She took him on and paid the price.
