He's suing for $50 million. She is countersuing for $100 million. 😂

Now I don't know a terrible lot about her diagnoses or lack of them (or whether she agrees with the BPD or histrionic diagnoses), but that is one heck of a fucking superiority complex going on!

What the actual fuck is this woman on?

And she's 36 so hardly young for an actor. She's unlikely to start getting really good parts now. Aquaman was probably it

WTAF? 36 is YOUNG. What fresh hell am I reading on here tonight? One poster said Johnny is too old to ever have another decent role - at just 58, and now '36 is not young!' Fuck me, I despair!

And she is an ACTRESS. Not an actor.

@PrettyMaybug that poster was saying "if he was a woman at 58.....". Of course men in Hollywood have careers at that sort of age.

The point was the poster was making was about the fact that Heard is younger and could have normally expected years more of a career, despite not being as famous as Depp. Depp could also have expected years of career success because he is not yet too old for male actors in Hollywood. So they both are arguing that this situation has damaged their careers to similar extents.

Yep, unfortunately I’ve had to work with her.

You worked with AH?

You couldn't be more wrong. An NDA does not stop anyone from reporting a crime to police. That isn't covered by an NDA and if a crime occured, she could absolutely have reported it.

I don't believe much of what she says given all the evidence that contradicts it. Nothing to be with being perfect - everything to do with honesty.

I just don't agree that her genitals are what determines she was a victim and not an abuser. That also isn't about perfection. Both ahe had a chance to tell their story. Both are far from perfect. Johnny's version is far more believable and backed up by much of the evidence.

I literally wrote above "An NDA... isn't enforcable"...

You are saying the same thing as me...

I am not saying the same thing. The article was clearly covered by the NDA hence all the lawyer involvement in the writing and lawyer concerns about the OpEd and the NDA - the OpEd wasn't about reporting a crime.

I had never said you can't report a crime if you have an NDA. They both signed NDAs related to their marriage. Signing NDAs is very common in Hollywood or with famous people and it isn't about trying to cover up or hide evil doings.

Nope. Even with the dog thing which I barely remember it was johny Depp and his missus. Only really noticed her when she started making a fool of herself in this court case.

I think he clearly struggles with drink and drugs but he's very open and honest. Whereas she is very controlled and manipulative.

*The reason she wanted to be with him was he was well established (older) in the industry and rich and famous - he could connect her to his connections re major motion pictures and build her career, he was rich enough to support her and all her friends in a lavish and extravagant lifestyle, she benefited greatly from exposure as his girlfriend / wife, get a ton of money in a divorce and generally live off of someone else.

She wanted him because he was older. Then she went for Elon Musk. She wasn't interested in younger poorer less connected men. She knew what she was doing. She has said she never even loved Elon - but was with him for two years. He paid her donation pledges, he paid for her lawyers for the UK trial (and there has been specualtion based on the very low legal expenses she had in her financial documents that he continued to pay for her legal team for this trial as well) - again - she dated him to benefit from his finances*

Maybe she just fell in love. They both talk about a strong connection at first and chemistry between them. They both talk about it being amazing to begin with. I think with her troubled childhood perhaps she was looking for more of a father figure. Some women like older men. But her past relationships don't follow what you are saying.

I think I first heard of her when they got together and knew she was a lot younger. Then again when they tried to smuggle the dogs into Australia I think I saw the statement from them. Then didn't really think any more about it until I saw the video of him slamming the cabinets. I knew who he was- I grew up with him. But not her and haven't seen any of her films.
