So I was on the fence with these two, and I read the threads but didn't follow them and when I searched them I only found and old one.

My search efforts suck, clearly.

Theres many recordings, albeit put together by a clear DP Pom Pom shaker. But it can't be denied (unless it's suggested it's another woman).

They are both awful, total waste of everybody’s time, energy and attention. I have no doubt the media is obsessing on this for a reason, to distract from other things. Funny how they weren’t interested in the Ghislane Maxwell trial.

She's certainly not Passive in the tapes, she isn't talking in the tapes like someone afraid of monsters kicking off.

Having Said that I totally understand that abused people don't have to be Passive and stay silent to prove they'are abused either.

Well the woman who posted this is very annoying and I had to skip past her parts (also very biased).

Here are my thoughts and it’s just my opinion. I have no idea what the context is and I don’t know how edited these recordings are. Johnny doesn’t say much at all. Amber sounds drunk and isn’t making a lot of sense. She keeps repeating herself. It seems to me there’s jealousy on both sides. Johnny talks about Magic Mike and Amber belittles his first big acting role when he was 20 (which seems odd). She’s also upset that he let her take the fall for her “home wrecker” reputation and for the dog incident in Australia.

I can’t work out the point of the conversation. Amber mentioned she had gone over to try and win him back. They both seem childish and unwilling to discuss anything and yet they both seem unable to walk away from each other so I’m guessing there was something between them. Maybe not love but weird obsession on both sides. They are both clearly toxic and a bad combination.

There's absolutely nothing here that points to abuse imo. And if the roles were reversed and these accusations were being levelled at a woman it could be called "victim blaming". I could go through and answer each point but I think people make up their own minds, and nothing dissuades them from the position they've taken.

I don't think he's a great guy to have a relationship with but I haven't seen anything to indicate abuse. Even the recordings when he doesn't know he's being recorded and that Amber produced, he's not abusive. The name-calling is only ever after extensive provocation. I feel so bloody sad for him that he's being judged like this, and that he'll never now manage to shrug this off entirely. A woman would never carry this kind of tainted reputation based on zero evidence the way that JD inevitably always will now.

And as I say, I'm not a JD fan, so I'm completely unbiased in this. And I'm also a raging feminist so it goes against every bone in my body not to believe a woman who claims to be abused.

I'm not gonna lie, I am leaning more to being on his side. I can't quite explain why. Maybe because I have always quite liked him, (as an actor - and a person,) because I know he was abused as a child (by his mother I think!) and because he seems fairly quiet and reserved. Also, there have been no previous incidents of violence from him from any previous women.

There is just something about Amber that gets under my skin. I just don't like her. And I am on Team Johnny. I hope he wins this case.

There are many different audios, one is 1 hour long and on is over 4 hours long, she is horrible, bullying him and gasligthing him the whole time. There is also the one in Austalia where she says 'I didn't mean to cut his finger off' to Dr Kipper while in tears.

I neither know nor care which of these self-indulgent people is in the right, but yesterday saw a clip in which she was sitting in the dock (or whatever it's called) and laughing with someone, a legal person I guess, then turned around to face the court and instantly assumed a sad teary looking expression, fast as lightning.

I’ve seen that - it’s reversed. So in reality she was sitting teary eyed and then turned and laughed. It’s so easy to doctor videos these days.

I would love you to explain why your unlikely but just about possible timeline makes me daft!

I simply do not believe a single word out of her mouth. I don't believe the non-tears. I don't believe the facial contortions she's pulling to 'act' upset visually. I don't believe a word she says.
I do however, believe him. I believe that his responses are very slow and measured and real. He seems to be generally mild-mannered. And for me, the most convincing testimony was the Scottish body guard. Clearly he is very loyal but I don't believe that he would lie to protect JD if he had knowledge that he was abusing Amber.

And what I find most amusing about her is that some of her suits resemble a judge's robes lol.

Also, anything he appears to have done or said has been in defence.
