To think cousin has no self respect

My cousin is throwing a huge 10 year anniversary party this July. I don't understand why as she's never been happy with her dh and during lockdown he lied to her, took money stealthily (they struggle financially so it's not like it's something he could afford) and spent it on Class A drugs, has lied in the past, as some examples. I've tried to broach the subject with her but her immediate reaction is anger. So I've dropped it now.
Aibu to think there's no logic to her thinking? Why flaunt something she is unhappy in? Why make it into a massive party? I don't understand? Aibu in my thinking?

Ahh....just seen this the OP keeps starting threads about the same 'cousin'. You need to get a hobby OP.

You are her cousin, you are not her mentor/advisor/keeper......

If she wants to make a hash of her life, that is HER choice. If you want to sink the boot in and make her life even harder by judging her, just know that you'll probably be the last person she'll go to for help if she ever does get the strength and courage to leave him, because she will not want to deal with the "I told you so" and judgment from you.

If you want to lose your cousin, just keep doing what you're doing. You're doing a sterling job of alienating her.
