FlipHesAnnoying · 27/04/2022 15:59

When will he stop criticising the UK (fair enough you left us (thanks!), but stop with the 'oh the USA is great and UK is crap etc...' It's annoying)

And .... Remember Harry - we are NOT ALL LOADED!!! Where are we supposed to get the money for all this therapy you think we should have? The NHS is at breaking point (have you noticed? What r you doing to help?) And we can't all afford private therapy Harry ... especially not 4 years worth!! 'my therapist spoke to your therapist..' is not a reality for most of us struggling to afford heating.

Out of touch much? Yes

He is fine to leave fine to stay gone fine to love it and live his life

It's uncouth to attack the hand that fed you anyone would think he was raised by wolves the way he behaves sometimes he seems to equate freedom with having no manners

Go fly free live your life leave us out of it

He was kind of raised by wolves after Diana died. A long line of secret service guards and nannies, with an occasional appearance by the far from warm Charles. I know it’s been argued to death on MN, but which family with any compassion at all makes a 13 year old grieving lad walk behind his mother’s coffin in the full glare of the world’s media?

Orchidsonthetable · 27/04/2022 17:01

I think what’s clear is Harry was very well protected by rhe palace media machine, none of us knew the reality of who he was, we all thought he was one of us, the little boy who lost his mother, and grew up to join the army, get drunk, be unlucky in love. The cheeky chappie with a heart of gold.

nothing could be further from the truth.

in reality he is a highly entitled, arrogant, self absorbed man who has below average intelligence levels. As in he’s really a bit thick.

How arrogant and entitled would you have to be to declare you will be “collaborating with the queen” when quitting, then declare you’d come over to visit to ensure she was protected and that you were her confidente. And thicker than mince too.

the palace protected him and created a public persona. The truth is he’s entitled, arrogant, self absorbed and with a low iq.

IcedPurple · 27/04/2022 17:03

I feel sorry for Harry and miss the popular, slightly naughty and mischievous young man he used to be.

But did he ever used to be that person?

Or did the much derided 'grey men' successfully create the happy hero Harry persona for him?

Wheresthebeach · 27/04/2022 17:05

LetitiaLeghorn · 27/04/2022 16:19

He's a self-absorbed, out of touch idiot who'd sell his granny for a yard of knicker elastic. Everyone knows it. Some won't admit it.

Absolutely. He's basically a reality TV personality. Has sold his soul

Viviennemary · 27/04/2022 17:06

I agree he is stressed out and unhappy. Time will tell how this car crash will play out.

I think that’s spot on.

He desperately wanted to be free of the courtiers and PR expertise that was actually responsible for his popularity. Now he’s making a complete pig’s ear of everything.

Sh05 · 27/04/2022 17:08

I think more than anything he's trying to convince himself that the US is the place he wants to be, that it's better than the UK hence he goes on about the UK being crap.
If he says it enough times maybe he'll start believing in it himself

potniatheron · 27/04/2022 17:09

He's also telling porkie pies about his history with therapy. He's been having it for much longer than 4 years. Cressida Bonas first persuaded him to go and the Palace found him an MI6 therapist, so he was literally seeing the best of the best. Also, way before then, William was trying to get Harry to see a therapist way back in Harry's Nazi-LARPing days.

IcedPurple · 27/04/2022 17:09

How can he put his foot in it day after day. Doesn't he run stuff past advisors? He shouldn't be allowed to speak to the media unsupervised.

He doesn't have 'advisors' anymore, that's the thing.

He seems to detest the 'courtiers' but it was actually them who created the cheeky chappy Captain Wales persona and saved him from himself. Everyone he associates with now wants something from him, and I'm not sure he realises that. Better Up just want to plug their woo corporate coaching apps and unlicensed 'life coaches'. They don't care if Harry makes an idiot of himself yet again, so long as their silly 'product' gets headlines. I think Harry is in a world he really doesn't understand and has not been prepared for. If anything, he sounds more out of touch than the actual royals living in palaces. At least they mostly understand the need to play the 'relatable' game.

Penguinevere · 27/04/2022 17:10

he’s just trying to distract everyone from Prince Andrew

Sorry but no. Hard disagree. Raised by wolves is children in the care system, children in refugee camps, children living with sexually and physically abusive parents. Harry was raised in the lap of luxury. he is now suffering from a severe case of chronic self-pity and victimhood.

ResentfulLemon · 27/04/2022 17:13

FlipHesAnnoying · 27/04/2022 16:48

Spottyphonecase - well in that case, should he not be helping the NHS with funding ideas, helping fund charities, etc.. rather than complaining that it is the British people's attitude to therapy which is wrong (and in no world ever will 4 years of therapy be available to all who need it!! Nor would that b helpful) He just sounds so out of touch with his love of American therapy and desire for everyone to seek it (if they do, the existing overstretched NHS wouldn't cope, we can't already - these are the issues Harry could help with instead of slagging us off and preaching he has found the way! (Which he hasn't, he looks miserable)

I agree. When Marcus Rashford saw a problem with children going without food he used his fame and influence to make a difference. Whether that's a difference that's lasted long enough is a different thing...but instead of saying "It's so terrible children are hungry, poor things - more needs to be done" he said "It's terrible children are hungry, this is how I'm helping"

There's no chance that Harry has less potential connections than a young footballer to get something real in motion to actually help those who need mental health support now.

VladmirsPoutine · 27/04/2022 17:13

Harry is absolutely terrible and really does a huge disservice to the RF. I mean he's just so awful in so many ways. I can't imagine anyone else doing that much harm to the RF. I mean imagine like if there was an actual nonce still making appearances with the Queen! Imagine how ridiculous that would be. Imagine if the tax payer funded £12million to some random woman. Harry really is going off the rails. It will all end in tears. He should have just stayed part of that royal circle.

pussycatlickinglollyices · 27/04/2022 17:13

Harry who?

mathanxiety · 27/04/2022 17:15

In the same post you state that the NHS is at breaking point and beseech Harry to stop saying the UK is crap.

It seems to me he is pointing out the bleeding obvious.

GetThatHelmetOn · 27/04/2022 17:16

Staffy1 · 27/04/2022 16:33

I don’t think all the therapy he raves about has done him any good. Navel gazing never does anyone any good. It’s just brought out the victim mentality, resentment and bitterness.

Such true words, pity or self pity is the absolute worst thing you can feel for others or yourself. He looked happy when he was struggling and miserable now that he is not 🤔

TimBoothseyes · 27/04/2022 17:16

Blimey this thread 😂It's like being in a bitter jealous ex's meeting. He left, get over it and move on.

Joystir59 · 27/04/2022 17:17

Can't stand the royals advising me on any aspect of how to live my life. The fact is we mere mortals know far more about how to survive and thrive in the real world.

As if Harry cares about the NHS, or has any real concept what it is.

Does he even know he now lives in a country with no real public healthcare system?

How easy is it for your average Californian to get state funded therapy, at a guess?

As I said, he's sounding more out of touch than the royals who live in palaces.

Idontgiveashitanymore · 27/04/2022 17:19

I agree with @Katya213 and @LetitiaLeghorn .
a lot of people don’t like them 🤢

Grandmum1 · 27/04/2022 17:19

Some celebrities will do anything for publicity - for a couple who were so keen to escape it they certainly drag themselves into the limelight a lot .
my opinion- his one time popularity made he & his wife believe they could call the shots , when their demands/ requests were refused they spat the dummy out and are now on plan to punish those who stood in their way. I know people in real life like this - they are unpleasant tossers too !!

StoneofDestiny · 27/04/2022 17:20

in reality he is a highly entitled, arrogant, self absorbed man who has below average intelligence levels. As in he’s really a bit thick

sounds just like Philip, Charles, Andrew and Edward

mathanxiety · 27/04/2022 17:20

And apparently according to your OP, people are struggling to afford heating and couldn't possibly afford to pay for private therapy.

Harry may have a point about the UK.

Maybe get angry at the government presiding over all this poverty and the gap between ordinary people's experience and that of the rich and the fact that the NHS isn't a functional healthcare system and mental health services are almost non existent?

Cherry35 · 27/04/2022 17:20

I find it annoying that he's always whinging. He's super entitled, complaining that his father cut him loose at over 30 and he still had his mom's inheritance.

I understand that he lost his mother at a young age but so does many people and with worse circumstances and move on, find happiness. I don't believe that he's truly happy now because if he were he wouldn't be whinging all the time about his family or putting them down in public. It feels like he has a lot of resentment.

IcedPurple · 27/04/2022 17:21

Whatever about his sons, but I don't think Philip was thick at all.
