I recently went to see a show at the theatre, predominantly to see a particular person. Although it was a production I wanted to see too.
I dont want to say what, as it's a bit outing.
Anyway I went with a friend and we loved it.
However, I cant stop thinking about this celeb since.
The show was wonderful and I want to go back.
I could go this weekend as i am off work.D Do I sound like a stalker??
And who can I go with? I cant ask same friend! I dont really have another person to ask.
I could go by myself but would that be strange?
I feel like I need to get it out if my system.
Sorry if I sound nutsBlush

I reckon it's Joseph. With Jason Donovan!

Iusedtobecarmen · 14/04/2022 17:07

They might have security stopping people from loitering though. I’d be wary of buying another ticket on the basis of catching them leaving the theatre.

Iusedtobecarmen · 14/04/2022 17:25

Oh no!!! what shall I do!!!!!!

Go and see it again if you genuinely enjoyed it and if you manage to catch a glimpse then that’s a bonus. Don’t book if getting his autograph etc is most important.

Iusedtobecarmen · 14/04/2022 17:44

Well it was the stage door that was swaying me the most. I did absolutely love it and would love to see it again. But I'd probably accept I've seen it and move on. It was the photo opportunity that was tempting me.

You’ve as much chance of getting that whether you buy a ticket or not.
Iusedtobecarmen · 14/04/2022 17:51

So should I just go stage door tomorrow then and see before buying a ticket for sat?

Dita73 · 14/04/2022 17:53

Fifty quid says it’s Peter bloody Andre

@downtonupton

last time I went to the theatre, Jason Donovan Wink was in the audience. He was really friendly, nice and normal and if it is him in Joseph, I am sure you will not be the only one in the audience who has gone to see him. Nor would it be weird to go to stage door and again, you wont be the only one. go for it... have fun... and even if it isn't Jason you're talking about - why are you worried what others think if it will make you happy and wont hurt anyone?
Last time I went to the theatre Gerard Butler was in the audience. He drew great attention to himself by wearing a baseball cap and sunglasses ( it was indoors ). And then he left just before the interval, forcing the whole row of people to stand up to let him out while the show was still going on.

Then he did the same at the end of the interval by taking his seat after the show had started. And again at the end of the show.

Honestly if you are too famous to stay around during the interval then at least get an end seat. Or a box Hmm.

Iusedtobecarmen · 14/04/2022 18:02

I do like Peter Andre but its not him Smile

You have an intrepid spirit, Stage Door Joanna Grin I decided decades ago that I actually now don't want to meet my Permanent Crush (45+ years and counting) as the combination of his apparent shyness and my goldfish impression would not be good.

You'll know it's bad when your sister casually informs you that one of her friends is a distant cousin of his.

They're virtually calling the banns next week, in my interior world Grin

My daughter met her crush at a festival once. He was unbelievably rude and she was absolutely devastated.

TwoLeftSocksWithHoles · 14/04/2022 18:47

Haven't read the thread or even your post, but on the basis of the title I'm going to go with YES as non-weirdos never ask if they are weird and weirdos always do.

NerrSnerr · 14/04/2022 19:51

You need to book it OP. You only live once and who cares if some people think it's weird?

Do what makes you happy.

Popsicle33 · 14/04/2022 19:57
