Cringe. A relative of mine kept this up for years with her pfb. As others have said though it's good etiquette to send a thank you note, so swings and roundabouts :)

I can’t get worked up about this sort of thing , the amount of times this situation would actually occur in my real life is so rare as I imagine it is in most peoples

I guess it depends on how much you like babies.

I’d have to say cringe not sweet. But I also think it’s hilarious. So my laughter would cancel any feelings of annoyance.
