The unfortunate thing is that Sunak is bright. Just not politically savvy. I prefer bright people in government. We mostly have a mediocre crew at the moment. That’s not surprising but it leads to poor governance. As we are finding out to our cost.

From what I hear, Gove was a decent Justice Secretary. Just got shuffled so didn’t see things through.
