It's grotesque, gaudy, and I'd imagine quite distressing for anyone visiting the final resting place of a loved one.
After my mum died, my dad used to visit her grave at the cemetery every week and sit in quiet contemplation. Despite being in the middle of London, it was and is a very peaceful place. Having that peace destroyed by a solar powered jukebox would have been hard to bear.
Unfortunately certain sections of society think their 'wants' trample over everyone elses, and this is a perfect example of it.
If this particular family need to find some way to spend all the money they got from scamming pensioners, and commemorating a convicted criminal, maybe they should just buy a plot of land somewhere private and bury him there? Or is this all just about maximum fuss, attention and drama?
