For me it would be a close run race between a Terry's Pyramint or an original a Secret bar...

@Smokeahontas

Vice Versa’s.
They came back a couple of years ago and weren’t anywhere near as nice as they used to be. It was a huge disappointment.

Spira would be my choice.

Pyewhacket · 19/03/2022 02:08

Aztec and Old Jamaica

christmascrazylady · 19/03/2022 02:40

Pollywaffle

MingeofDeath · 19/03/2022 02:47

Not a chocolate bar as such but Terry's Neapolitans. I loved those and they seemed to be only available around Christmas time. Another vote for Texan as well. No wonder my teeth are knackered.

bigyellowTpot · 19/03/2022 02:50

another vote for spira bars here but also Riva bars does anyone remember them in the 90s they were gorgeous I'm not sure if they were made by mcvities. also those Ainsly harriot bars they used to sell in home bargains were nice, they seem to have disappeared.

tomorrowalready · 19/03/2022 03:06

BigYellowTeapot, I got a whole box of Rivas from a discount website last year, kept me going through lockdown. Also liked Terry's Neapolitans and Aztec bars. And the Wafia and Bar Six bars previously mentioned. It seems everything I liked got discontinued or changed.

  1. Mars Delight. I miss them SO much
  2. Marble bars
  3. Spira
  4. Taz
  5. Club fruit

This is the wrong rat thread ever.... it's like torture Sad

Rubyupbeat · 19/03/2022 03:43

The milk tray bar.

PigletJohn · 19/03/2022 03:45

A chocolate orange that was made of snappy chocolate, rather than the sticky sweet thing with Palm Oil since Kraft bought the company.

Inthestillofthenight · 19/03/2022 03:49

Aztec Aztec and more Aztec! That purple wrapper was such a treat!

I once worked with someones whos father worked for Cadburys in R&D, she brought a new product in to let a couple of us try a new chocolate bar long before it was available to buy, we really enjoyed it, it will take off we said, it was the original Wispa.

Astella22 · 19/03/2022 03:52

Coconut boost bars from years ago were lush I’d love to see them back

AnneShirleysNewDress · 19/03/2022 03:54

Secret or a Spira

1forAll74 · 19/03/2022 04:12

i never see Crunchie bars now, with the honeycombe inside.

[AUTO]jj6l6l0wdihf0 · 19/03/2022 05:33

Spira here too. I used to LOVE them!!

StormyWindow · 19/03/2022 05:34

Rowntrees Nutty bars (not technically chocolate but still)
Almond Yorkies
Orange Bitz (were they Terry's?)
United biscuit bars
Galaxy truffle eggs and some similar white chocolate ones I can't remember the name of.
80's chocolate was the best Sad

blubberball · 19/03/2022 05:57

I remember these Rolo smooth bars in the 90s. The caramel was so silky smooth. I miss those!

BakerMan · 19/03/2022 06:03

Spira,

Cadbury chocolate buttons strawberry,

The white crunch bar. I've only seen the milk chocolate one around so not sure if the white one is still available or not.

BakerMan · 19/03/2022 06:04

Oh and Mars delight!

waitingfortea · 19/03/2022 06:06

Secret! No doubt. I loved that chocolate so much!!!!

UsernameInTheTown · 19/03/2022 06:06

I live for the day Secret bars are revived.

ChessieFL · 19/03/2022 06:09

@1forAll74 where do you live?! Crunchies are still available in most shops in England.

My vote would be Fuse.

I also used to like a box of chocolates called Inspirations. They had fruity flavours and the box had little drawers that pulled out with a few chocolates in each drawer. I would like to try those again.

UsernameInTheTown · 19/03/2022 06:10

Ginormous Ginelli ice cream and Bobboli pizza.

BatshitCrazyWoman · 19/03/2022 06:17

@salsamad

Cadburys Ice Breaker from the 1970s, milk chocolate with lots of little pieces of mint in it 😋
I was coming on to say this. Wish they'd bring it back!
FatOaf · 19/03/2022 06:20

Definitely Cadbury's Bar Six.

Would also like to have Terry's Waifa back (much nicer than KitKat). Someone upthread mentioned Mint Cracknel, which was also lovely.

Nameandgamechange123 · 19/03/2022 06:37

Fuse - delicious
