For me it would be a close run race between a Terry's Pyramint or an original a Secret bar...

@SiobhanSharpe

Dipped Flake. Cadbury's chocolate nuts selection (in a tin). Whole almonds, brazils and hazelnuts in thick milk chocolate. Used to be on sale in a purple and silver coloured tin at Christmas time. About 400 grams in weight, I think. I realise this would be very expensive these days but so worth it. And it would have to be the old-recipe chocolate, of course.
I live in Asia - they sell here. Most Cadbury's sold here is from Australia so presumably still made in Aus

A Cadbury's Fuse is available in India. I suspect quite a few of the names mentioned will still be available in other countries. They may not taste the same though or just not as remembered given how tastes move on. Sometimes it's better that these things stay in the past as fond memories- Pyramint would be my request but I strongly suspect I would find it far too sweet nowadays, love a Bendicks Bittermint but not so fond of an After Eight for that reason.

Proper cadburys crème eggs before they changed the recipe and halved the size.

rosyvalentine · 20/03/2022 02:27

Aztec and Malibu bars. Mmm.

CheesePlantMurderer · 20/03/2022 04:56

Nutty. Not chocolate but heavenly!

ClinkeyMonkey · 20/03/2022 06:43

Does anyone remember Milk Tray bars? They were like crazy paving, a bit like Tony's Chocolonely, except that each section was a Milk Tray chocolate with its own filling. They were quite expensive, something that needed a bit of dedication with saving the pocket money!

CarrieMoonbeams · 20/03/2022 08:40

I can't believe I've never heard of a Spira bar, it sounds amazing!

Mint Cracknell and Cabana bars for me please.

Not chocolate, but I have fond memories of sweetie tobacco ("Spanish Gold"), I think it was in a waxy paper pouch, mostly red, with a ship on it. I see you can still buy that online though, might investigate that later. Funnily enough, the sweetie cigarettes we used to buy too aren't sold any more! (They were tasteless shite anyway.)

Not really a chocolate bar, but onken frufoos. Chocolate shells filled with raspberry yoghurt. They were so good and I'd love to try them again. But would probably be disappointed.

@Tiredforfive45

Mars Delight.

Also, mint feasts. Can’t get them anywhere Sad

Just looked up Mint Feasts and they were discontinued in 2019 Sad
Gonnagetgoing · 20/03/2022 11:50

Mars Delight and I think it was called Moments (Terry’s?) anyway it was a pyramid shaped long bar which you broke off bits and had caramel inside, around very late 1980s/early 1990s.

WomanStanleyWoman · 20/03/2022 11:56

I just remember another one - Double Chocolate Dairy Milk! It was only around for a couple of years in the mid-noughties: Dairy Milk with a chocolate filling that was sort of halfway between caramel and cream. I loved them 😍

crepesncream · 20/03/2022 14:20

WomanStanleyWoman Brilliant. Will search them out tomorrow. Thanks. Smile

Sweetpeasaremadeforbees · 20/03/2022 18:30

Thank you to whoever came up with the 'Anytime' answer. I remember the wrapper but the name still rings no bells whatsoever!
