a bunch of adult men acting like little kids turns my stomach. More worrying is my DH watches the pile of crap.

I don't know about unreasonable, but you're the only person I've ever seen say they don't like it!
I love it and I don't even drive, let alone own a car. It's weird.

i love it!!!im not into cars except classics and thats only as they look pretty but i love top gear!

Our best hour of the week is watching TG.

I love Jeremy Clarkson, his books, and column in the Sunday Telegraph, he says what he wants, without feeling constrained. And TG is funny and entertaining. (and I'm a non-driver, with no interest in cars whatsover).

Shaniece- my DH & I watch it with our DD's & love it-it taps in to our sarcastic SOH.

But YANBU it's a Marmite thing -love it or hate it!

Let your DH watch it, tut to yourself & go & do something more edifying!

can't stand it. neither can my dh. agree re grown men acting like spoilt children, promoting cars that go way over the legal speed limit.

YANBU - personally I love it, as does my DH, but that doesn't mean it will appeal to everyone.

DH & DS1 love it. DS1 is 9, adn rolls around the floor laughing at it.

Or maybe he's just laughing at their hair.

I can't stand it. Adult men acting like little schoolboys and getting really excited about it . I get the impression they get more turned on by cars than they would sex .

I do like it a lot but it is getting a bit formulasic in that it seems a bit scripted and they do pretty much the same things every week...but I love Star in a Reasonably Priced Car

DH and I have no interest, but DS who's 10 loves it. YANBU!

I find it very, very funny. Sometimes. I think 'it turns my stomach' is just a weeny bit OTT. It's only a silly bit of TV.

It makes my father weep with laughter, and the poor sod needs all the jollies he can get, believe me. So no bad thing, imo.

(Don't we have a love TG/hate TG almost every week now?)

how funny so many people like it, am surprised. i really really hate it.. clarkson = dangerous idiot. james may = middling journalist earning more than he is worth as a stooge. hammond = fool.

I love it but I think you've got to take it with a pinch of salt. Top Gear has got me extra kudos with DH, however - it's amazing how impressive a well-timed 'bags of grunt' slipped into the conversation can be to a group of slighty drunk car obsessives!!
