DP doesnt want to see me- who's unreasonable

I have a cold, which a caught from my DS. Lft all negative. I feel OK just a chesty cough.

DP said they don't want to see me over the weekend because they don't want my cold. I said if we lived together you couldn't just kick me out because of a cold.

Who's being unreasonable?

Did you do a PCR?

I'm trying to get my friend to get one, but he 'can't be arsed' & 'needs to go to work' (on Saturday, next shift rota) either way 😳😩

He doesn't, he could call in sick, I know his company. IMO he needs a PCR & to stay home, he went to the shops yesterday & his mum has cancer.

I've just about lost my patience with him frankly.

Of course you're being unreasonable, and selfish.

Why on earth would you want to make someone you love ill, even if it is "just" a cold?

Surely we always, even before Covid, avoided passing on illnesses where possible. That's why we have the 48hr rule for D&V and generally stayed away from people where practical when unwell.

YABU - just because it isn't covid doesn't mean that he wants to share your germs and put himself at higher risk of getting ill.

You are. Do you really need to question this!

I'd test again if I were you. My OH tested negative on Tuesday with 'just a cold' but we've all tested positive this morning.
