How many house plants do you have?

I have 20 but I know people who have 80. How many house plants do you have and AIBU to say that having house plants is good for mental health and wellbeing?

I've just sent Unlucky 13 to the Great Compost Heap in the Sky.

May ask for a replacement for Mother's Day.

Ok just recounted:
1 calamondin orange
1 cyclamen
1 cactus
4 orchids
2 succulents
1 supermarket Basil
1 Kalanchoe
1 Spiderplant

I repotted 9 house plants over the weekend - it really is the best day of the year! Like Xmas but without the cheese or stress. I get so much enjoyment from it. The plants go up a pot size but somehow manage to almost double in size instantly. I used the empty smaller pots to grow on cuttings I've been nurturing for a while.

So I now have 6 more plants than before - over 50 now I'd say.
win win.

not at all - if plants are being moody I move them around. Sometimes you've just got to find that sweet spot for a plant to be happy.

Looks quite dry. Give it a water, trim off the dead bits. It looks like it might like partical shade/indirect light?

I have a "hospital row" in my laundry where all my sad plants perk up.

1. I am rubbish at keeping plants alive and I am in awe of you all who can keep so many alive! I am impressed with myself as this plant has been alive for about a year now, longest I have kept one alive 😂 Hope I don’t jinx it!

I have one, this thread has reminded me to go water it.

Five Orchids. No idea why I have them though. I don't 'do' gardening and struggle to keep house plants alive. In fact I can't even remember when I last watered my poor orchids even though several of them are flowering and have buds.

I can keep animals and children alive and happy but am totally useless with plants. They won't even feature on my radar.

Sad.
