I got a lobster biscuits and multicoloured rose, bunch of red roses in a vase, a valentines day balloon, a balloon that's red and says love. Also Indian tea x

A lovely card and bunch of flowers. He also cooked dinner.

I baked him cupcakes with help of out 2.5 year old, box of chocolates and a new toiletry bag lol.

3 avocados, 2 mangoes and two bunches of daffs.

Anyway, (I don't have a boyfriend right now) me and my mom had a nice dinner together and shared some lindt chocolate and she got me a heart shaped lollipop 💜

😁 We had a long weekend binge watching Netflix, eating chocolates and going for a long walk in the blinding sun. Bliss.

I got a collection of Gnaw chocolate bars (my old favourites & new flavours), a lush floral arrangement of pink and hot pink tulips from the florist, and Percy Pig hot water bottle! I love it all.

We really enjoy occasions like this. We both work hard and so getting to lie around feeling blessed and eating eggs on toast for breakfast is very special to us.

Nothing. Fifth year of being single and kids forgot so not even a card. I ordered some new perfume as I need to start loving myself more.

Oh, for all the haters, forgot to add we went out for a lovely meal on Sunday so as to avoid crowds and obviously we gave lovely cards to one another.

Re the commercialised argument, we don’t mind at all about that, Christmas and Easter are also commercialised, luckily we can afford it.

Re the getting loads of crap argument, sorry to hear all you get is a load of crap, must be awful.

Re the one day argument, I do agree you don’t need a special occasion to do something nice together. But with us both typically working through the weekends, Valentine’s is much appreciated.

Nothing for either of us. It's commercialised tat! Restaurants bang the prices up and besides who wants to sit watching other couples fawning off each other whilst they're eating! We tell each other every day that we love one and other we don't need a specific day to do that
