Following on from the previous thread about expensive purchases that weren't worth it, what is expensive but actually is worth it? What do you own or have done that is very expensive but you don't regret it at all?

My robo hoover! Cleans my floor while I watch TV! 🙌🏼

My car, second hand but only 3 years old. Went for something big, roomy & comfy. We travel to relatives most school holidays doing 3/4 hour journeys & you can’t beat the comfort!

My sofa. Expensive but so comfy!

I’m seeing a comfort theme here., will spend money to be comfortable 😂

Good thread! Thanks OP!

The Headspace app costs me £50 annually. It teaches meditation. It is brilliant! My mental health is not good but would be far worse without it. It often calms me down or helps me sleep.

@MischievousBiscuits

Ann Summers lingerie. Some of the prices make my eyes water but I feel so sexy in them. Smashbox makeup. I'm nut OK cheese - it's an artisan vegan range Drops of Youth by the Bodyshop
Is Ann Summers lingerie quality and expensive? Seriously? The windows of the one in my town look full of stratchy lace and nylon items trimmed with feather boas. Do they do a line of quality stuff?

Pedicures! I get the "luxury" gel pedicure once a month. Absolutely pointless expenditure because I could cut my own toenails and use a footfile for free, but I just love having the picture-perfect feet!

LazyDoll · 13/02/2022 18:24

Draineddraineddrained - I too would love to find some decent socks. Tried everything too - the only ones which last at all are from here: www.pantherella.com/

Pr1mr0se · 13/02/2022 18:30

I can confirm so far they have lasted me at least 5 years without any wear marks or need to mend.
