Following on from the previous thread about expensive purchases that weren't worth it, what is expensive but actually is worth it? What do you own or have done that is very expensive but you don't regret it at all?

Ooh yes, bed. DH is really tall and his feet stick out if a normal bed so we had one made a foot longer. It’s really wide as well. Life-changing.

this. I am not a bike driver but late DH and I had many hours of fun on a Honda Valkyrie...he had two other bikes but that one I used to say was mine but he was allowed to chauffeur me. It was sold privately to another enthusiast after he died and I did cry a bit.

My nails, expensive to have them done every 3 weeks (haven't got them on at the moment due to injury and missing them)

Food boxes, currently Gousto, delicious and actually not horrendously more than cooking for two because it's hard to buy the right amounts so you get wastage

Tilltheend99 · 13/02/2022 08:53

Stuffing is one of my favourite foods so have tried various own brand ones over the years but the PAXO one is still the best for flavour.

Proper leather jackets. I've had three in the last 12 years and worn them almost non stop.

gogohm · 13/02/2022 08:54

@HowlongWillThisTakeNow

Yes my bike stuff costs a fair amount, coverting a real leather jacket currently and it's £450Confused

MsTSwift · 13/02/2022 08:54

M&S food. Started shopping in their food hall in lockdown to cheer us up. Their fruit yoghurt / bread / eggs / any processed food such good quality and delicious. Whenever I go back to Lidl food we all feel abit depressed that week you really really notice the difference…
