Abit outing but nevermind
I've been bidding for a property thur council for nearly 8years. I'm sharing a room with 2 children(6 &8) eldest(14) has own room.
I'm currently 2nd on 3 properties never ever been so close.
Aibu- to actually stand a chance I can't sleep with thinking!
Ainbu- not 1st probably won't happen.

I don’t want to put a downer on it but I’ve been in the top 3 every week for 2 years now and I’ve not been offered anything. I’ve been 1st a few times and still not been offered it as apparently the numbers aren’t everything.

I’ve got my fingers crossed for you though. Please let us know how you get on.

Ahh that's awful how long overall have you been bidding? I got ahead of myself has ive never been 1st before not even 3rd so thought this must be it after all these years, looks like I was wrong sadly.

Oh, well then that really sucks.
I didn't realize it was such an up and down roller coaster ride, and possible crash & burn, even when at the top of the list.

So if that's the case, then I suppose I wouldn't be too hopeful (I really, really hate being dissapointed!). But I am still really hoping for you!

I have no idea how it works, but it's possible that you've fallen through the cracks somehow. Good that you spoke up about how long you've been waiting while others, seemingly same band, have gotten in much quicker ahead of you.

Good luck, the top 3 in each of the 3 houses could still be the same 3 people, so all 3 of you could be successful. I hope it works out for you.
