Any Tory who defended Boris's Savile smear as 'cut and thrust' should immediately recant

Any of the despicable lot who did the media rounds defending Boris making a far-right smear in parliament as 'political cut and thrust' should be faced with a journalist tomorrow asking whether they had reconsidered in the light of the mob surrounding Keir Starmer tonight calling him a fucking traitor, saying he should be hung, and repeating the same accusation. Their responses should be collated and published.

In recent years we have seen two MPs murdered. These mobs must be taken seriously. They should not be whipped up by the Prime Minister in the Houses of Parliament.

Boris has to accept responsibility for this, and every fucker who defended it as acceptable should be called to account.

@Peregrina

But Janiies posts baffle me. Starmer is blamed for cases that never got to the stage of being referred upwards to him. When he did find out he took action to try to make sure that this never happened again.

Johnson however, is supposed not to know about parties which took place at his work or in his flat, and at best pretends that they were work events. Why is the bar set considerably higher for Starmer? He's not PM yet, although I believe that he would make a better one.

This.

Those defending the PM are talking absolute tosh and they must know it, if not morally deficient.

Hmm. True Blue MP has written back:

Thank you for your email. Your broad comments are noted. [This refers to the paragraph which included all the quotes from MPs defending the Savile comments].

As for the event that happened earlier this week, the mobbing of Sir Keir and David Lammy was of course despicable behaviour by small group of deranged individuals. It must be noted they were screaming at him about everything from vaccines to the Magna Carta to Julian Assange. The anti vax protestors have been circling Parliament on and off for a number of months now and would unfortunately have been present regardless of anything the PM has said - I believe they issued a flyer before their protest stating it was about vaccines. [This feels like the cut and paste reply sent to all for moany constituents]

[quote Clavinova]Boris making a far-right smear

I don't really get the 'far-right' reference - I wouldn't normally describe the Sun newspaper as 'far-right' (June 2020);
