If you were fortunate enough to get a payrise at the end of 2021 can I ask the percentage?

OP posts:
NoLongerTroels · 10/01/2022 20:23

6% It was an unexpected surprise.

Whatelsecouldibecalled · 10/01/2022 20:25

As a teacher 0%. Which if you take into account inflation it's about 4% pay cut. Brilliant.

DinosApple · 10/01/2022 20:26

It works out to about 1%, about tenner a month.

I love my job, but my food shop has gone up by £20 a week over the last 2 years and I daren't think what the rising gas prices will be 🙈.

Rrrob · 10/01/2022 20:26

1.3% and supposedly a high performer. Quite embarrassing that company profits are up 30% yet it’s all given to partners not the worker bees.

HunterHearstHelmsley · 10/01/2022 20:28

5.5% for everyone in the organisation. We are a social care charity so virtually unheard of! Our last rise was 1% 4 years ago.

NoWordForFluffy · 10/01/2022 20:31

I got 2% last June. Hopefully I get the same this June to give me a buffer for the NI rise in April.

CrappyXmasMarket · 10/01/2022 20:32

2% but I got a new job which raised it to 3.5% lol

StruggleStreet · 10/01/2022 20:32

13%. 2.5% was the standard across the board uplift and the rest was part of a gradual pay rise linked to big promotion last year.

EekThreek · 10/01/2022 20:36

I got 10.5%, but that was performance related. Otherwise would have been about 2.5%

Beer2bed · 10/01/2022 20:36

45% during the summer but I was seriously underpaid as the job I took on expanded massively very quickly after I started. Private sector and my salary wasnt very big to start with.

NameChangeCity123 · 10/01/2022 20:36

@LadyCleathStuart

1%
Same
Forrandomposts · 10/01/2022 20:37

3%, public sector

allofthecheese · 10/01/2022 20:37

Well asked for one and it just didn't get addressed Sad going to have to bring it up again...

Potnoodleforbrains · 10/01/2022 20:41

Sweet fanny Adams, same as last year 🤣

Dibbydoos · 10/01/2022 20:45

Self employed, 16.7%

Maelstrom23 · 10/01/2022 20:56

How to get this 20% off at Mc D? Show ID badge or something else ? Smile

EmmaStone · 10/01/2022 20:56

10% but was promoted/benchmarked. Hadn't had anything since Spring 2019 (in fact had had a pay cut as had to reduce hours for a few months in 2020 due to Covid).

There is a budgeted 5% increase across the board this year, but I don't know if I'll be included. Will be a bit cross if not, as then will be behind again after the benchmarking.

You have to sign up on the app with your nhs email and then always order via the app.
UnshakenNeedsStirring · 10/01/2022 21:01

No pay rise in 2 years :(

spidersenses · 10/01/2022 21:09

5% but performance related

nanbread · 10/01/2022 21:12

4% but that's based on performance and is first raise in 2+ years, we don't get cost of living raises.

SeeminglyOblivious · 10/01/2022 21:14

2.5%

Mum2jenny · 10/01/2022 21:19

Gave my employees around 15%

lemonyfox · 10/01/2022 21:21

28.5% but a promotion and I was underpaid in the first place compared to my peers. Private sector, consultancy.

ilovesooty · 10/01/2022 21:26

@DorothyZbornakIsAQueen

Ours was 2.5%.

Well, everybody in the organisation received the same amount of money. I am on a lower band so that's what is equated to for our grade.

For the people in the organisation on megabucks, this didn't equate to much.

They were not happy.

Not surprised. When I left the third sector in 2019 I hadn't had a payrise of any kind since my regrade in 2012.
