If you were fortunate enough to get a payrise at the end of 2021 can I ask the percentage?

OP posts:
Drywhitefruitycidergin · 10/01/2022 19:12

3.3% it was a bit more than I was expecting as the overall was 2.5% with possibility to flex to 3% but I have done 2 jobs for part of the year.....

Kickers567 · 10/01/2022 19:13

I worked it out to 13.6%
DH got 25%.

... care sector crisis trying desperately to retain staff.

RandomMess · 10/01/2022 19:13

DH has had one 1% pay rise in 12 years!

Civil Service "we're all innit together" Hmm

Asdf12345 · 10/01/2022 19:15

I got 3% on some of my work, and nil on about a third of my total income.

The other half is currently negotiating and expecting to settle for about 30% either from the current employer or by moving to a competitor, but they work in a niche with a massive shortage of candidates.

Alwaysconfuddled · 10/01/2022 19:16

10% performance related

RagzReturnedUnwrapped · 10/01/2022 19:20
@Merryoldgoat NHS Smile I do get 20% off at McDonald's though so swings and roundabouts Wink
Do we?!

3% here too, didn't think we would get it as I'm in General Practice not actual NHS. But we got it in November and they backdated it to April. Employer's discretion, was a nice surprise.

Crimeismymiddlename · 10/01/2022 19:22

4%-this is cost of living.

Michellebops · 10/01/2022 19:22

4% 2021
3% 2020

WreckTangled · 10/01/2022 19:26

@RagzReturnedUnwrapped yes, if you order via the app. You have to give them your nhs email address and it's valid for all of this year. I'm pleased you got your pay rise Smile

RudeAF · 10/01/2022 19:26

Official pay reviews are in April so not heard yet but I did get a 6% rise in December, because of the Great Resignation causing panic amongst the big cheeses Grin

Newbie8365 · 10/01/2022 19:29

3%

theemmadilemma · 10/01/2022 19:30

20% off at McDonalds! I did not know this 😵

DorothyZbornakIsAQueen · 10/01/2022 19:35

Ours was 2.5%.

Well, everybody in the organisation received the same amount of money. I am on a lower band so that's what is equated to for our grade.

For the people in the organisation on megabucks, this didn't equate to much.

They were not happy.

LakieLady · 10/01/2022 19:35

0% (third sector).

BowlofNothing · 10/01/2022 19:35

8%, however got nothing in 2021

youwouldthink · 10/01/2022 19:35

10% which was unexpected so delighted with it

Crabwoman · 10/01/2022 19:36

0% here so far. Local authority.
Union balloted and rejected 1% and are balloting to strike.

About10thusername · 10/01/2022 19:49

1% - even though I was classed as a 'high achiever' and performed 'above expectation'.

SweetPetrichor · 10/01/2022 19:59

4.5% Really just keeping up with the cost of living!

CleanUpTime · 10/01/2022 20:02

3.5%

blankittyblank · 10/01/2022 20:14

Christ, I've just worried out mine was 22% Shock
But, I realised I was massively under paid when looking at the job market, and got loads of evidence together of what I should have been earning, and threatened to leave.

Had no idea that was the percentage though!

JaceLancs · 10/01/2022 20:16

I got 3% last April
Talks have started for this year looking like 2.5% this coming April

PointyMcguire · 10/01/2022 20:19

12% payrise as part of a promotion, plus a performance related bonus of around 20% of my annual salary. I feel incredibly fortunate to work for a company that’s so employee focused.

SausageRoll2020 · 10/01/2022 20:22

25% effective 1st Jan
Based on the company reviewing market salaries, wanting to keep people and good performance.
