... Is when someone comments you look good for your age?

I got told I look good for 40 today.

No one ever said that in my 30s

I feel old

DP and I were at a lido in Europe while on holiday. A young fella, aged about 20, was sitting with a group of friends and jumped up to offer to carry our loungers. We were very grateful for the offer and told him thanks but we'll manage. I was 48. 😂

I think I must be old, because today my younger colleague was trying to be tactful and not mention my specific age when we were discussing something today. And I'm only ten years older than him. Grrrr.

When DD was a toddler she asked me if when I was a child dinosaurs were around. Hmm

During my PhD one of my uni mates asked me how old I was. I said 29. Him: NOooo!! You don't look THAT old!!!

Oh dear, AliveAndSleeping, I've done that. When I was 23 I asked my colleague how old she was, she said 33, and I said "oh really? You don't look it at all" . Now I'm 47 and I think wtf was I thinking? Imagine being 33 again!

I'll accept that I'm old when I no longer enjoy running 5k.

When I was 38 I considered refusing to allow a maternity doctor permission to examine me because he looked too young to have completed medical studies. I'm 45 now and virtually all police, doctors, and most professions look ridiculously young to my middle aged eyes. God knows how I'll be able to take them seriously in another twenty years.

From 45 our memories start to fall off.

I felt old the day I looked in the mirror and did a double take thinking where the he'll did you cine from!!! I was 50. I also got a few age warts, had them lasered off. Our immune system starts to drop off from 50, eyesight can get flaky, our cells produce more mistakes.

I think the point is we all age. Nothing we can do to stop it yet. So, if you live your life like its your last day nothing else matters, you are in fact never old just living a good life!!!

Old when weird body stuff starts happening. Eyes go, bits start hurting, stuff starts bleeding.

After years of driving everywhere I can’t see in the dark. That means being in for 8am is problematic. Although my body is happily awake at 4.30-5.00pm. Maybe top security, in the early hours, should go to menopausal women as they have no sleep.

Honestly you think it won’t happen and then WHAM. You’ve got some stupid,old, overdone thing.
Don’t think being fit helps. You’re the first for new knees and hips. Plus you’ll gave heart issues.

I feel old now I keep catching glimpses of my mum in the mirror! This is unfair as she always looked a lot younger than she was (when she died people thought there was a misprint on the funeral pamphlet). Every time I walk I see her and not me, all very odd
