Husband very comfortable with loud music (former DJs) live in detached, no kids, I let air horn off when heavy tune dropped, he turned into dad. It’s Boxing Day, letting my hair down, after me calling him a hypocrite, many sweary words, he flounced off to bedroom. AIBU to continue with very loud DnB & Jungle along with drinks & dancing around the living room like a maniac, while he sulks?

I am jealous just home from work had a few gins wanted to have a mini party with my dh and listen to rave music but we watched dont look up instead on netflix now lying in bed a wee bit tipsy hes snoring and I am emotional 😂

I’m your age and had a chocolate biscuit and a cup of decaf tea. I’d HATE my neighbours if they used an air horn.

hahahaha no not yet, think I’ll be going on like this for a while yet (will most likely be drinking much tea tomorrow though) My only regret is that I don’t do enough of this, it is of great shame to me that I am unable to get outside & function normally in everyday life, this will have to do for now though (I am getting help with addressing agoraphobia etc)

Yeah I get that I have CPTSD but grab the occasions with dear life when I can let go (very rarely & random, Christmas day was a different story)
