AIBU curmudgeonly husband telling me off

Husband very comfortable with loud music (former DJs) live in detached, no kids, I let air horn off when heavy tune dropped, he turned into dad. It’s Boxing Day, letting my hair down, after me calling him a hypocrite, many sweary words, he flounced off to bedroom. AIBU to continue with very loud DnB & Jungle along with drinks & dancing around the living room like a maniac, while he sulks?

Belfast is gorgeous and could only be improved by generous use of an air horn at certain spontaneous moments.

crispsarny · 01/01/2022 14:25

@MzHz

There are very few situations that can’t be improved by the deployment of an air horn

@crispsarny hats off to you!

Oh and agoraphobia sucks, I have it mildly but it’s getting better in places, keep at it, rescue remedy and keep doing little trips out and about and you’ll start to improve

Maybe take the air horn for a walk? 😂🤣

Thanks @MzHz glad to hear your improving Flowers I have a great therapist & am doing parts works as my agoraphobia is rooted in trauma, so I’m hopeful that things will get better for me Smile

I'm glad he joined in with the air horn in the end.

Can someone please link to the shake n vac mix because I need it in my life. Off to buy an air horn...

Grin I’ve had a quick look but can’t see it, must be a dubplate special 🤣

Can highly recommend this air horn

My funniest experience with air horn involvement was when on holiday once, neighbours house roof covered in pigeons. Literally not a tile visible.

Neighbours came out of house blew air horn.

All the pigeons flew off.

Man placed hands on hips in triumph only to watch the birds fly into a group circle the area and land straight back on his roof.

He went back indoors with a slam… which after the air horn was insufficient to dislodge the pigeons.

ds and I were crying laughing
@crispsarny you are what we would call in Ireland a gas woman Grin
I’ll take that as a compliment Grin just reading what it means, husband thought it meant I was a bit windy lol, he should know what it means though what with him being quarter Irish!

We have to find ways to entertain ourselves, music & dancing is good for the soul, some men like to dictate what we women should or shouldn’t be doing, I say arses to that & dance how you like Grin

@Tittyfilarious81 & @Frankola I’ve had many mini phat raves since receiving it, it’s very small but brilliant, just stick it on the end of a power bank or phone standing up to project on the ceiling is good, lights move in time to the music. Have sent one to my nieces & nephews who loved it also an older Junglist who had it on the go at work. One of my best presents off husband Smile

YesitsBess · 02/01/2022 12:57

@crispsarny I had no idea the video for that tune had horses in it!

< honks Airhorn quietly into cushion to avoid startling horses >
