Now, it's been exposed that she carefully drafted and intended the letter for publication, asking for input on what words or phrases would 'play better'.
She also had to admit that she and her husband both helped with the book that they had previously vehemently denied doing.
So, she won. It's not a brilliant victory and has exposed her and her husband as liars.
She might have been better advised, given that she knew these things might come out, to keep her mouth firmly shut. Better to be thought a liar than to be proved one.
She's a fool and so is her husband.
