Who is being unreasonable?

Friend A is self isolating after a positive PCR today. Friend A lives on their own.

Friend B is helping out by picking up shopping.

Friend A has written a list to pick up and will pay Friend B back. List includes cigarettes.

Friend B despises smoking and says she'll pick up food and medication but not cigarettes.

Absolutely, and if a friend didn't want to buy it I would respect that. I have more than one friend, so I'd ask another.

If all of them said no I'd want to have a good old think about what I was doing, tbh, rather than thinking they were all unreasonable.

B is not a good friend.

She is controlling.

She doesn't get to decide what you choose to do inside your home.

She is a CF and I wouldn't forget this.

@RedSquirrel111. CAn we have an update please? Did you get your cigarettes via a taxi or deliveroo? Did your friend make you go without and if so are you still friends? I hope your Christmas wasn’t as bad as you were dreading it was going to be!

How are you? Did you make it through Christmas without chewing your arm off?
I used to smoke, gave up 21 years ago. It took me about 3 or 4 tries but I got there in the end, so I know it can't have been easy for you to go without!!

I got a delivery from uber eats - they deliver from Asda - who knew!
I ended up being quite poorly over the Christmas period so didn't really smoke (or eat, or move) so hoping that will give me a wee kick start into stopping!

Friend b is being unreasonable. If friend a wants to kill themselves through smoking that’s their choice.
