She’s an addict plus a whole lot more yet she still manages to have a fabulous connection with Harvey despite everything else that goes on.

I'm sure that will be of great comfort to the families of those she inevitably kills.

Yet no one cared when Ant McPartlin caused an accident drink driving and everyone forgave him quickly because of who he is. Katie Price gets a lot more stick.

I'm not saying what she has done is right, of course it's not. But she clearly needs help and a lifetime driving ban so she won't do it again.

She needs help, not a jail term. Whatever people say about her I really admire the way she's brought Harvey up. That must be incredibly hard for her.

And no I'm not a massive KP fan, far from it.

She lost custody of her other 4 children long before the current boyfriend came on the scene. Peter Andre and Kieran whatever took on full residency a couple of years back when it became clear her drug use was out of control.
Katie manipulates her social media posts to make it look as though she sees them very regularly, but they're mainly old posts or with other family members present. Carl has not been pictured with them for some weeks now.

Her bond with Harvey is irrelevant so not sure why you are banging on about it, she has been caught drink driving numerous times and needs to be stopped. If that means prison, then so be it.

She treats Harvey like a performing seal to wheel out when she wants publicity and attention. Her other children live with their dad's full time as she is not allowed them when around the new (for now) boyfriend. The boyfriend that allegedly beat her while Harvey was around and the boyfriend that bates Harvey if you look at the videos she posts. She is anything but a good mum. She lives in squalor, she is a dirty and untidy woman and it is absolutely disgusting that she has got away with yet another offence.

Yanbu. Unfortunately, anyone who is rich and/or famous receives special treatment will it comes to justice and law enforcement. They'll either get away with things the average person wouldn't, or they'll get extra special treatment if they fall victim to a crime.

AMcP was caught once; KP 5 times, and was driving whilst banned. The woman should be locked up.

But she clearly needs help and a lifetime driving ban so she won't do it again.

She's been banned before and she's lost her licence I believe but she just continues driving. A ban is clearly not going to change things nor will it deter her. This isn't some one time thing she repeatedly breaks the law and gives no fucks for anyone she may kill or harm in the process, her own children included.

Acknowledging that she has a very special bond with Harvey is far from excusing everything else that goes on in her life.

I had hoped that she might be jailed this time around in the hope that it would prompt some change in her life but it wasn’t to be and it seems like it was a good outcome for so many people here who needed someone to vent their spleen on.

When people try to defend her, I hear...

Ant was a one time offence. She is on her 9th offence. She was driving while disqualified so how does another driving ban help her stay clean? She doesn't listen to the bans she has previously had! She has also been seen driving since her accident in September.

Ah you mean the way she disappeared to the playboy mansion when Harvey was a tiny baby for about 8 weeks? Or the amount of times she left him with her mum for weeks at a time. Yes that's a great mum! Harvey is going to thrive at his residential college, and it will be nothing to do with her.

Agreed. I don't see what her relationship with Harvey has to do with the current situation. Her behaviour is ridiculous and she really doesn't give a damn who she hurts.

I really don't think it's true that no one cared when Ant McP was involved in a drink driving accident. Afaik he went into rehab and hasn't been in trouble since (no idea whether he's still sober or not).

Yes, and when one thinks about it, it was hardly likely that she just happened to crash and be caught the one and only time she jumped in the car. She's been driving all along (and was photographed doing so earlier in the year, which was published in the press).

She needs something done for her own sake, let alone other people's. She's on a continuing downward spiral that will ultimately end in her death or the death of someone else. I don't know whether she's a great parent or not, none of us really do because we only see what is selected for us to see. But you can't be a good parent when you're dead or drunk/on pills all the time.

Harvey is safe and well-cared for in his residential college. Her other 4 children live full-time with their dads. Her mum has a husband and other family members to look out for her (it's not as if Katie is her carer) and contrary to press reports, does not have terminal cancer.

I'm not a fan but I think its uncomfortable to watch her. She clearly has a lot of issues that are not necessarily helped by herself or whoever encourages (and probably makes money from) her to publicise and play out her latest dramas in the public eye.
One of her addictions is attention, and she would probably be best addressing drink, drugs and whatever other things she is going through, in a residential clinically, away from the spotlight.

My first post clearly indicated what I thought about Katie getting off with her latest offence and I felt absolutely no need to expand on it. If people want to assume her having a really good bond with Harvey is all that matters to me then so be it.
