A suspended sentence? One day she will kill someone.

I’m ok with her not going to prison, I just want people in her situation to be banned from driving for life.

luverlybubberly · 15/12/2021 20:08

@OneRuleForThem

But she hasn’t killed anyone. People just want her punished because they personally dislike her I think.
She been in NINE incidents. Jail may not be appropriate for incident 1 but she clearly needs a proper deterrent like jail before she hurts someone (including herself)

It wouldn't work though. She's been banned so many times and been caught driving multiple times whilst banned so banning her for life would have made absolutely no difference.
areallthenamesusedup · 15/12/2021 20:12

Recent report says over 9,000 drivers are currently driving with over 12 points on their license.

Whole system is broken.

She was already on a ban from a previous drink related crash - it doesn't deter her
SazCat · 15/12/2021 20:15

My late dad was sentenced to 4 weeks in prison, served 2 weeks for drink driving.

I'm not defending him at all, it's abhorrent behaviour. But it was his first offence and there was no crash, he had stopped in a layby. How the hell has KP avoided prison with her record??!!

whynotwhatknot · 15/12/2021 20:16

the jusge saying you think youre above the law then just giving her a suspending sentence was the cherry on top wasnt it

the woman would get away with murder-and dont bring hard time andharvey into it alot of people have disabled children and ont continually break the law

GertrudePerkinsPaperyThing · 15/12/2021 20:19

I’m guessing her children, especially Harvey, was taken into account with the sentencing

100% will have been

LuluBlakey1 · 15/12/2021 20:20

She is utterly loathsome. Why anyone pays her any attention is beyond me. There is nothing she seems unwilling to expose about her life to the Press.

MaHBroon · 15/12/2021 20:21

Why did you feel the need to make 4 posts talking only of her supposed bond with Harvey then? Posting more or less the same comment repeatedly like it's some sort of mic drop in response to her being convicted of a crime does make it sound like it's all that matters to you, like you are minimising what she has done and that's is a-ok because at least she has an amazing bond with her son

I guess your waiting for some response that will enable you to continue your cross examination of me but honestly I really can’t be bothered with you any further.

PinkWaferBiscuit · 15/12/2021 20:22

Why would her children need to be taken into consideration. As far as I'm aware Harvey is in a residential college and none of the others live with her do they? She hardly has childcare responsibilities as a viable reason and to be honest it's not like its her first offence so no doubt she has previously used that as an excuse.
TyrannosaurusRegina · 15/12/2021 20:22

I actually quite like her however I am astounded that she basically got off scot free. The judge apparently said that she had one of the worst driving records that they had seen. She could have killed someone. They should've thrown the book at her.

Elderflower14 · 15/12/2021 20:22

She should definitely be in prison... Makes my blood boil that she isnt... 😡 😡 😡 😡

oh thats ok then, you ok if I pop down the shop buzzing off my tits in my car so long as I dont kill anyone - fab!
CallmeHendricksGingleBells · 15/12/2021 20:23

I just cannot see why "her children" would (or should) have made any difference. All five of them live elsewhere.

NandorTheRelentless · 15/12/2021 20:25

@Bohemiajean

OneRuleForThem People don't have a vendetta against her. She was drunk and could have killed someone. My parent was an innocent pedestrian. She was killed by someone like Katie Price. Her children may be devastated by her going to prison, but nowhere near as devastated as I was when I walked into a hospital and did not recognise my own parent because of the horrific injuries.

It's not a vendetta. The one thing I do hope is that she has learned her lesson, but the sentence sends a terrible message to other people who may drink drive.

So very sorry for your loss Flowers
Bohemiajean · 15/12/2021 20:26

Nandor - it was a very long time ago, but thank you. I feel so very very angry tonight.

Emerald5hamrock · 15/12/2021 20:26

Sadly I'm not surprised.
If normal average parents behaved like the certain celebrities they would have SS involvement.
I have zero sympathy for her, her DC deserve better.

whynotwhatknot · 15/12/2021 20:27

her children shouldnt come into it

how much can she get away with by saying shes got harvey and her mum to look -where is the line

CampagVelocet · 15/12/2021 20:29

It makes me very angry. Very. What message does it send? That the law doesn't matter, driving bans don't matter? The recidivism should mean she's banned from driving for life but apparently she can do what she wants without consequence. And no, I don't care how good her bond may or may not be with her children; that's entirely irrelevant.

Lovelymincepies · 15/12/2021 20:29

It's a joke. I also don't understand how she managed to go to the states while awaiting this conviction on top of all the other convictions she has!!

MaHBroon · 15/12/2021 20:30

@whynotwhatknot

We don’t know that she did.

It is very clear however that there was away around her being given a custodial sentence and that Katie’s lawyer knew his way around it.

bluetongue · 15/12/2021 20:35

@Lollyneenah

Appears to me that she has lost custody of her children, by choosing to stay with that new boyfriend of hers.

In a way I think jail would be a kindness and some breathing space away from new boyfriend. He is not someone who gives a shit about her, and in my opinion is probably the person who was arrested a few months back for assault / cc.

I think she's really fucked up with this latest chap

Agree with you about jail. For most people going to jail is a negative but there are some cases where jail is the only thing that is going to have a chance of shocking them into reality and giving them a chance to reboot their life.
Blankscreen · 15/12/2021 20:35

Looks like she has managed to turn over a range rover which is £££££

She 'not good at paperwork' but she manages to buy an expensive car.

Is she still bankrupt. I don't understand how the bailiffs have not been sent round how did she afford the priory but not pay her court debt

Blondeshavemorefun · 15/12/2021 20:38

Agree if was a normal person they would be sent to jail by now.

She isn’t learning - ban after ban. Driving without insurance. Driving while drunk

Tho not sure prison is the answer but not sure what is
