AIBU to think that lovely as this bunch of flowers is, there is a certain price beyond which makes them a plain rip off? What would you have paid for this? First photo shows how it arrived from the florist - priced for 10 stems+ foliage. Jar not included. Would like to know what others think. Thank you!

@fmama
You sounds like a sweet person who is married to a wonderful DH and are raising 2 kind, thoughtful children. Thank you for sharing your bouquet with us...because you all are such a lovely family you were able to work through the conundrum with grace. That's what healthy families do.
I'd love to see a photo of your flowers when they open..I enjoy anemones, tooXmas Smile

I had no idea, I just looked this up and wow! Were they as impressive as the pictures make them look? I am definitely going to try this service, was quite tempted to send myself some while we are stuck in covid jail!“

Yes, she said they were spectacular. Filled two large vases.

I wouldn't. But except about £10 from a shop like tescos.

I often send my daughter flowers by post. Nearly all of them cost about £20 and then the postage. They sometimes arrive wilted and one or two stems broken. I have tried most of the flowers by post companies. Unfortunately we expect failings.

The B&M flowers are exactly what you can buy in the supermarket. The roses are cheap and cheerful with short stems and small heads.

If you're going to buy supermarket flowers, Sainsbury's, Morrisons, M&S and Waitrose are the best for flowers IMO.

Your poor DH. I hope he doesn't bother in future.
