So tea tonight is: mash, Richmond sausages, brocolli, one small Yorkshire pudding and gravy.

Question: how many Richmond sausages?

None.

I would think twice about feeding Richmond sausages to my dog.

At my table, we eat sausages which are 90% meat, not 42%. 🤮

Or even "in a" lake of gravy!

I cannot understand how they are so popular, they are utterly grim. Get some nice proper meaty sausage and you will only need a sensible portion then, rather than filling up on rusk and the other shite that’s in Richmond.

I have the vegetarian ones and I think they are really nice, - infinitely better than quorn/ Linda Macartney etc - I have two but usually in toad in the hole which makes it a bit more filling.

No Richmond sausages for me, horrid. On the other hand, I know a bloke who has a 'sausage' dog called Richmond who is absolutely gorgeous, the dog not the bloke that is.

But you knew that op, or why tell us the brand. A sausage is a sausage unless you're trying to trigger us.

The Heck ones are quite nice. Love bangers and mash, with a load of fried red onion, and gravy. Mmmm!

The vegetarian ones are the most authentic veggie sausages I've had!

Richmond sausages are an entry level level sausage, but I would eat them and I'd want 3.

3 of the thick ones 4 of the thin ones.

Nowt wrong with Richmond Sausages. I always have a bag in the freezer for ad hoc sausage sarnie/casserole/toad in hole.

I imagine it's because they are cheap and lots of people are on very limited budgets and they can't afford meaty sausages.

I wouldn’t even feed them to my dog. Such low meat content they’re not even allowed to be called “pork” sausages IIRC.

Three each of the veggie ones for dh and me. That leaves two for a sausage sandwich.
