I expect it is what the daily mail or similar tells her it should be. Painting a courageous young woman campaigning for positive change as a spoilt brat is a classics reactionary smear.

I asked her the same and instead of providing any evidence she just trotted out the "agree to disagree" and flounced off.

I can see why someone would dislike Greta if their idea of clever is Jeremy Clarkson.

Every time I think Clarkson has redeemed himself. His programme on farming was brilliant.

I admire her immensely, I have a 16 year old with autism. I see what it takes to get her through college every day. Greta is really quite incredible,

I find it fascinating to know that there is someone that exists who won't consider helping to mitigate the impact of climate change because of their visceral hatred of an 18 year old autistic woman who only one among many campaigners about it and instead prefers the opinions of a mysogynistic TV car show presenter. What is more amazing is that this person thinks this is some sort of intellectually cogent position.
