To be ashamed of our Sleazebag PM?

If it wasn't bad enough, Johnson presiding over the Paterson vote last week ...

He's now refusing to attend the debate today on sleaze/corruption

He also will not allow the sleaze watchdog to look into his flat refurbishment.

Does Johnson actually think this kind of behaviour is impressive?

I find it deeply embarrassing.

I'm not ashamed personally, because I didn't vote for him (or rather for the parliamentary candidate of his party). I don't have much respect for him, howerver.

Evesgarden · 08/11/2021 16:53

@Sean2001

My Labour Mp is far far from useless. When I watch Newsnight I see and hear many MPswho are not useless. Everyone on our government is as far as I can tell me.

Please correct me - if I'm wrong.

Yet they dont seem to understand that males can cannot magically change in to females.

How is that useful too females? Its that pesky topic that most Labour supporters really won't discuss though isn't it.

RudestLittleMadam · 08/11/2021 16:53

He has always been a fucking embarrassment but always seems to come up smelling of roses even though he wallows in shit and has zero shame for how he and his atrocious government have fucked up time and again.

I don’t know what’s more infuriating: the fact he will no doubt get away with being a total cunt again or the sheer number of people who have insisted he’s “doing his best”. No he isn’t, he never has but even if it was true his best isn’t good enough so he shouldn’t be in the job any longer. Even before the latest scandal.

daimbarsatemydogsbone · 08/11/2021 16:58

They are ALL as bad as each other

This is obviously a lie but imagining it wasn't - in that case can we all vote Labour next time and see? Or does "they are all as bad" only get said by Tory voters?

Lying to start a war in which thousands of U.K army personnel were killed or maimed is much worse @daimbarsatemydogsbone.Not sure why you missed the last bit of my post out...

Just puts it in a bit of perspective.

But just for context of 'they are all as bad as each other -

Labour cash for fags scandal

Ecclestone promoting Hitler - ( and to be fair that's still hasn't gone away has it with the bias against Jewish people) Ecclestone was also tried for bribery in Germany.

Cash for honours - Tony Blair again. Maybe Labour being ordered to pay back ALL the money they had received from this put them in the financial difficulty they left us in??

Cash for new Laws - Labour were accepting money from people that wanted the Law changing so it would suit the beneficiary.

Corbyn laying a wreath on a palastinian memorial

Anonymous donations being undeclared despite LABOUR making laws against this leading to the resignation of multiple Labour MPS.

It was also under Labours watch the the Rotherham Child abusers were able to continue as they didn't want to lose voters - which is despicable.

So while Labour are slathering at 'getting their teeth' in to the Tories - a lot of us can see that actually they are just as bad - if not worse tbh

DuncinToffee · 08/11/2021 17:26

Only 46 out of 365 Conservative MPs have turned up for this debate

saoirse31 · 08/11/2021 17:51

He's a total disaster as PM, I don't think his political views r opinions go any further than 'what suits me , right now?' More than likely that's why he's threatening to risk peace in the Six Counties, because blaming EU will distract from the current sleaze in London

daimbarsatemydogsbone · 08/11/2021 18:23

@Pineapplequeen

So "they are all as bad" is just your weird way of saying "Labour are worse"

By the way, in the unlikely event you're interested in the truth about Corbyn and the wreath, the BBC has a good summary and it's a better version that the Daily Mail one you are parroting -

www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-45196409

I notice you didn't answer my question - if they are really "all as bad" can we have a "bad" Labour government for a while instead of these filthy corrupt liars?

TeamRick · 08/11/2021 19:17

And what was he doing instead of attending the Questions - visiting a hospital - without a mask!

The only person in the place without a mask on! The bloody arrogance of him is absolutely astounding!
I think I actually hate him!

To be ashamed of our Sleazebag PM?
Skiptheheartsandflowers · 08/11/2021 19:20

@VickyEadieofThigh

I've been on a campaign for some years to stop people referring to him in matey fashion as "Boris" - it gives me the rage when newspapers do it, even in the same article referring to "Boris" and then "Starmer".

He's not anybody's mate and nobody should do it unless they're a personal friend. It's encouraged a benign "Aww, good old Boris - he's a laugh, innee?" mentality.

Same here. I make an effort to call him Johnson. And yes, he is a complete embarrassment of a PM.
MadeOfStarStuff · 08/11/2021 19:21

They don’t even try to hide the corruption anymore.

Blame the idiots who keep voting for them

Listener2021 · 08/11/2021 19:24

He is a disgrace. He's been slouching around a hospital in Hexham today with his mouth hanging open and no mask on, with staff around him 100% masked. I can't understand how he gets away with it and why no one calls him out.

Everyone else would have to wear a mask or not be let in the hospital

(Unless a medical exemption)

I didn't get it off the daily Mail! Grin and I dont need link I remember SEEING it on the news.

You found ONE fault with the list of scandals the Labour Party has been through. ONE. Still ignoring the fact that Labour took us to war on false information. Still ignoring the fact 1000s of service men and women were mailed or killed based on Tony Blairs lies.

The national crime agency found that the LABOUR government had information on the Rotherham grooming gangs as far back as 2002 but failed to act. They failed to act because they did not want to lose the Labour votes in that area. Shaun Right Labour Councillor in charge of children services should hang his head in shame. But turning a blind eye to children being raped @daimbarsatemydogsbone is bad. Surely you must see that.

Labour sold those young girls out

Labour sold women out when they kicked us out of the party and called us transphobic.

You can have a bad labour government as much as you like but people just do not want to vote for them.

When Labour where in - the list I shown you tells you that they too were filthy corrupt liars also. Politics is and always has been corrupt.

Labour is no different than the Tories

(apart from that they know the difference between male and female)

StoneofDestiny · 08/11/2021 20:01

Let's hope

To be ashamed of our Sleazebag PM?
tarasmalatarocks · 08/11/2021 20:07

Well if anyone didn’t think the sight of a drunken asleep slumped PM looking a total state at a major conference last week wasn’t an utter embarrassment, I can only presume they have zero standards for public office , he has zero ideas, zero ability to understand detail and a huge ability to Make sure he appoints only naive sycophants who are so desparate to get on they will go along with any old shit

tarasmalatarocks · 08/11/2021 20:09

And I am still not convinced there aren’t some Tory social media trolls on here desparate to convince you labour would be worse.

Walkingwounded · 08/11/2021 20:09

Stone of destiny hilarious.

Just hope Labour don’t let go of this, The entitlement and arrogance of Conservative MPs in this business is awful.

MurielSpriggs · 08/11/2021 20:10

You're pretty thick-skinned if you're only just starting to feel embarrassed!

HandlebarLadyTash · 08/11/2021 20:14

Hes a dick

ChurchofLatterDayPaints · 08/11/2021 20:15

Yanbu. I just came on to say a big Fuck off from the bottom of my heart to Boris and all his enablers, including those on mumsnet and KS and the fucking useless cretinous Labour Party. May the penis rocket of a sociopathic capitalist transport you all to another dimension very shortly.
