So sick of the constant stupid fireworks

When will they hurry up and ban fireworks for private sale?
Have 2 dogs shivering under the sofa. Huge bangs outside. What if you have a baby in bed?
Anti social behaviour if you ask me.
Take your kids to a proper display.

Have you read the thread. The description given is hardly dramatic and sadly not uncommon. Would you say those posting similar about relatives who also suffer due to fireworks were also dramatic or is it less dramatic because they are talking about people instead of animals?

Maybe it is easier to imply people like me are being too “dramatic” than to accept how much some animals suffer due to fireworks.

Warning: very distressing news story about yobs with fireworks. This is another example of why they should be banned from public sale. Maybe the majority of people letting them off do it to celebrate at home but the majority of the noise and disruption comes from yobs letting them off in public spaces.

I’ve also attached a pic of the bin at the park near my street. I only looked at what was at the top of one bin so is likely to be more than this. As the pic shows, one box contains 300 missiles and two boxes visible so at a bar minimum 600 went off at end of my street not taking into account and neighbours who might have been doing it responsibly.

I did contact the council but they said they couldn’t do anything and to contact the police Am doubtful that the police would even have time to respond to something like this so I will be accepting defeat lol

Same here I was literally just about to come and have another whinge. Honestly getting beyond stupid. I also thought it was pretty disrespectful to be letting them off on rememberance Sunday but then I figured if the twats didn't care about letting them off on the 11th then it makes sense that today is just another day to them.

1.30am they went off this morning 🤦‍♀️

We had them going off here Saturday night. Really loud ones too.

My pup is now scared to go out in the garden as she happened to be out there when they started. No warning at all. She panicked and we were doing so well with her until then with fireworks

I hate the damn things. They need to be banned from public sale as too many have can't be trusted to use them responsibly.
