OK I probably am being horrible but I couldn't help but laugh hearing that people are calling Ulrika Johnson 4 X 4 - aparently it has really upset her.

i saw a thread about2 days ago full of praise for her
ulrika had a shit and very bizarre childhood /teen life

kerala · 11/12/2007 18:47

jordan is heroine to many god knows why. Is anyone else uncomfortable about the constant parading of celebrities children across these tacky mags? These children (often days old fgs) are too young to consent or agree to it and are paraded around as figures in the soap opera lives that are these peoples careers. How will they feel when they are older? Just horrid.

You can be famous without dragging your kids into it - some in the public eye are fiercely protective and sue if anyone so much as prints a photo of their child (Kate Moss/Iain Duncan Smith) etc.

TheWiltedRose · 11/12/2007 18:48

I have to say i think yabu, its comments that this kind of thing that make me wonder whether i will ever have another child or be to scared in case of being judged because it will have a different dad like my other two do.

I think its comments like this about celebritys makes people think its ok to laugh when truthfully there normal women out there in the same circumstances that dont appreciate it.

LittleSleighBellasRinging · 11/12/2007 18:54

"She has saggy tits... she should have a boob job"

What? That is a disgusting thing to say about a mother. If you're not joking nailpolish, you should be ashamed of yourself.

In answer to the OP, yes, YABU, of course you are.

LittleSleighBellasRinging · 11/12/2007 18:57

Mother Teresa had saggy tits. Germaine Greer probably has saggy tits. I expect Boadicea had saggy tits. In fact, if I made a list of all the women in history who eventually had saggy tits and then a list of the ones who never did, I expect the first list would be a lot longer.

Sorry, but I just can't get over what a moronic comment taht was. I'm startled by the stupidity of it.

Judy1234 · 11/12/2007 19:03

She's look terribly good in the Hello photographs today though, it's because she has probably put on a bit of baby weight which was direly needed.

Yes, too much judging of women's looks and sexual conduct and not enough of men's.

southeastastra · 11/12/2007 19:06

she did have a bizarre childhood didn't she. i remember seeing a doc about her a few years back.

you all leave her alone she's lovely

KITTYmaspudding · 11/12/2007 19:12

Dunno about her tits, but she has a neck like a chicken. She's aged a lot.
Yes they are 'not nice' comments, made purely for the sake of making them. I don't care. Mn is just too PC sometimes.

I agree with cod, she has issues that she should get sorted, probably.

Monkeytrousers · 11/12/2007 19:28

there's nothing political about it, correct or otherwise, if there was it might be wirthy of debate. It's jusr bitching. I don't care either way, just be honest about it - and do unto others yadayada

fircone · 11/12/2007 19:28

She is not slow to exploit her man troubles, in fact it's her bread and butter. (She did a programme called something like "I am a sex addict").

Why some posters are getting outraged on her behalf is beyond me.

southeastastra · 11/12/2007 19:33

perhaps we know her

LittleSleighBellasRinging · 11/12/2007 19:33

It's not on her behalf you idiot, it's on behalf of all women in the whole wide world

fircone · 11/12/2007 19:34

Oh no, I've just seen the "saggy tits" outrage. Quite right, LittleSleigh - a paparazzi shot of Mother Theresa in the bath with saggy tits would not be on - but if you contact a magazine and then display yourself for money, are you not fair game, rather than (all bow in reverence) a mother?

LittleSleighBellasRinging · 11/12/2007 19:35

Sorry I shouldn't call you an idiot. It just came out and I pressed post without stopping.

It's just that your comment seemed to be missing the point. This isn't about Ulrike Jonssen, it's about the fact that a woman gets called a slag for having 4 children and looking after them, while a man gets no such opprobrium for having 400 children and not looking after them.

fircone · 11/12/2007 19:36

oh, I thought you were being sarcastic! You are genuinely outraged on behalf of all the women in the world? Are you outraged on behalf of all the women in the world all the time? How tiring. Or should that be tiresome.

LittleSleighBellasRinging · 11/12/2007 19:38

The mother was because mothers are known to have saggy tits because that's what pregnancy does to women's bodies.

And what pregnancy doesn't do, age does.

If the worst you can find to say about a woman, is that she has saggy tits, either you are a moron, or there isn't that much to criticise about her.

I'm sure Ms Jonssen could be criticised for lots of things, but saggy tits? Really? That's worth discussing is it?

Give me a break

fircone · 11/12/2007 19:38

In fact I am outraged that you called me an idiot. Because I am a WOMAN. And no women should be ridiculed/slagged off/midly criticised, it seems.

LittleSleighBellasRinging · 11/12/2007 19:38

No fircone, only when I go on internet sites and read idiocies about them

LittleSleighBellasRinging · 11/12/2007 19:39

You are not reading my posts properly.

LittleSleighBellasRinging · 11/12/2007 19:40

No woman should be slagged off for being a woman.

For being an idiot, fair game.

fircone · 11/12/2007 19:41

But YOU are missing the point. Ulrika of her own free will appears in magazines. We are allowed to comment on the pictures/what she says. It's a free country - this is a free forum.

I'm sure you must comment on things you read in the press?

KITTYmaspudding · 11/12/2007 19:42

sleighbells you have anger issues methinks
