The house is chaos. I’m not well. Two children are running around like feral cats.

What’s DH doing? Making creme brûlée.

I don’t care, it’ll be delicious but it’s the last thing we need.

This is lighthearted btw - DH is not a twat or ignoring us/kids etc.

My DD has been up being sick all night (literally every 15 minutes between 7pm and 5am 😬 ) so we are on the couch today both looking and feeling like crap. I feel sick myself from lack of sleep.

DD is now sipping some tomato soup from a mug trying to get a little bit of food in her tummy. I'm on annual leave for half term and so had plans to go to the cinema with friends today, so instead we rented Peter Rabbit 2 and had a couch cinema day to make up for it.

My boss naturally has forgotten (again) that I've booked some time off so has been ringing and emailing me this morning, it's being blissfully ignored.

Spent the morning online. Frustrating and infuriating. Joint working on a major project and other members are late, dip in and out for:- food, drink, toilet, answer door, shhh children, babies crying on laps, babies being changing, feeding, want to discuss the weather, sheesh I just want to get it done already!

I had my annual full body check this morning by the Dermatologist's PA. She found something on my cheek that could become precancerous so she froze it with liquid nitrogen. I now have a red spot on my face the size of a penny that hurts and looks like shit.

I have kicked the house into touch for the week, cleaning, and traumatised both myself and my eldest dd by completely refusing to accept the cess pit her room has been devolving into. So I deepcleaned it. I hope she wasn't saving those spectacular spider's webs for halloween.

She was on her way home from a weekend away with her boyfriend and his family - and has now pulled a shift tonight, which means she's on every night this week. Not. Happy.

I have the running commentary and tappity tappity of DH working on his mechanical keyboard on the dining room table, and the running commentary of the daughter playing genshin and tappity tappitying in the smaller living room.

Sunlight is streaming in, and the cat is a puddle of puss on the bed.

I’ve just picked DC up from nursery, I’m early pregnancy and feeling nauseous. I have dinner to do and my house looks like a robbery gone wrong. Lots of tidying and cleaning to do today!

Dh miserable cos the weather is crap. Yes he's going away this pm for two nights in a hotel for work so I am not sympathetic.

I'm sat in a cafe with a lovely hot coffee, working remotely via cellphone outlook.

Dead sheep this morning. It wasn't well yesterday without going into gory details. Had to take a picture of its eartag and phone fallen animal company. The man who turned up was as miserable as sin because i hadn't dragged it to a certain pick up point.

Checking ewes this afternoon to see if they've been tupped. Boys have been working well.
Quad bike running on fumes so had to go to petrol station with petrol can. One of my most unfavourite jobs.

I’m having crap reaction to covid booster , mow my dd has a migraine so I have to drag my admires out of my comfy bed and be there for her when she’s vomiting and feeling crap. House is a mess, bits of cat litter on the hallway carpet that needs hoovering and that’s not going to happen today
