I'm contemplating what goes on in the minds of males.
In work, there's two mop buckets, that are different colours. One set are for TOILETS, and have that written on them multiple times. The other mop bucket and mop have GENERAL written on them multiple times. The toilet one is used less, so is kept stacked further back.
The men who work with me, forget, and time and time again use the wrong mop for the wrong place. Often having to move the correct mop and bucket, out of the way, giving themselves more work in the process.
The mop buckets aren't the problem though, just a symptom. They don't see the words written on, they just don't notice. One was baffled one day, when he asked how he was supposed to remember which is which, when I pointed out it's literally written all over them, "wow, so it is! How'd I miss that..?".
Obviously not all men are like this, but many I know just don't seem to take in details in general, like women do? It's like they don't perceive the world the same? Eg, I'm constantly being asked by males where x, y and z is, even if it was them that put it away/used it last, and it drives me crazy sometimes, especially when my son can't find something, when I've told him more or less exactly where it is, (and then I find it straight away, when I go and look).
